A co-worker just stopped in my cubicle and began crying. Her father tried to commit suicide (shot himself in the head through the chin - BUT SURVIVED!) The weapon formed but did not prosper. He is battling alcoholism. Pray for strength and peace in this family.

I met a woman named Amy over the weekend in a parking lot. She was asking everyone around her for money so that she wouldn't get kicked out of the hotel she has been staying at. I didn't have much cash on me, so I gave her what I had. I prayed with her and she opened up to me that she was almost raped a few months ago, but God saved her and someone saw what was going on. The man that almost raped her ended up stealing everything she had. She said she just started going to church last weekend and the church she is going to picks her up on Sunday mornings and helps her with food. She also told me she has a job holding a sign for a Gold store. I feel really bad that I didn't ask her "if she was to die today, does she know that she would go to Heaven". I'm praying for another opportunity to talk to her. Please pray for blessings for Amy. I can't imagine what she goes through daily.

The weekend update for those continuing to pray for me and marriage. Well as you know my husband moved out last Thursday after I caught him texting his girlfriend. Friday was a total mess for me. He came by Friday night to get some more things. I had been talking to his step-mom and his father on the phone. His father is a baptist preacher and prayed for us. Saturday as I laid in bed most of the day. I finally got up and went to get a card for a sister in law that recently lost a child. I came back home laid in bed some more. My husband called to ask some questions about cable and internet. I answered. Then we talked later and he asked me to dinner. We went to dinner. He told me he was going out of town this coming up weekend. He didn't say he was going to see his GF but I know that is where he is going. We ended dinner and I dropped him off and then he asked if I wanted to go to this concert with him. I went to the concert we had a good time. He wouldn't allow any pictures to be taken or anything. After I dropped him off at his apartment we hugged kissed and I said I love you, He actually said it back. Which he hasnt said. Sunday I just laid around again. I got up to go get something eat and when I came back I had a missed call from him. I didn't call back. Then he sent a text saying that he tried to call me and that he was going golfing. I texted him a few hours later saying I hope he played well and to have a good time. Later he texted asking if I had eaten. I told him no. He said he was hungry. I said well then you need to eat. He said he was going to. He then said he would get some furniture sometime soon from the house. I said Ok. That was the end of our text. Please continue to pray that God looks in my husbands heart and reconciles us. His family wants me to come there and I praying that my husband asks me to make the trip with him. I am praying that every encounter he has with his girlfriend God destroys that it is ends in disaster. God is against divorce and only for reconciliation. I need continued prayers.

Last week I requested prayer for a boss who was "bullying", who was also a victim of abuse herself. Several people prayed for me. Well, I began to pray for my boss and a door has opened for elevation to a better job! I am waiting on my 3rd interview. Please pray that if this is God's will for my life - I will have favor. As for my relationship with my boss, I have blanketed her with love, and I am seeing a difference. It does not matter that she "Likes" me. What matters is that Jesus remain the center of all my relationships. I love KSBJ, and pray that I can give back to this awesome ministry. Thanks for your prayers!
