Please pray I'll see the man I love very soon and he will find me beautiful. Until then pray he will think of me fondly daily and know how much I care. Please pray God will remove other temptations from him and when we see each other we will make good progress. Also pray the people he works with will think of me well and speak of me well. Let him know how much I care and appreciate all he does for me thru the power of the Holy Sprite. Let him have grace for me as he knows Ive been thru a lot.

Pray for my husband to have such an encounter with the Holy Spirit that he will be delivered from sexually deviant behavior and walk in agreement with God will for his life and our marriage

Dear Lord, There is no joy like the joy You give. There is nothing better than being restored to a right relationship with You O God! He prays to God and finds favor with him, he sees God's face and shouts for joy; he is restored by God to his righteous state (Job 33:26). I long to see my daughter wearing "a garment of praise instead of a spirit of rebellion against You and Your Word.." I have prayed for her, even before she was born, and now I will "not give up" praying for her (Galations 6:9). Today I "live by faith, not by sight" (2 Corinthians 5:7) as I wait for her to turn to You. "Shine forth" (Psalm 80:1), Father! By faith in You O Lord. I see Your face shining on my daughter, and she's looking at You with her beautiful and radiant face! May "everlasting joy" be ours, Father (Isaiah 61:7)!

Please pray - as I am - that God in Jesus Christ: will elect to be my son's Judge and Advocate even now; and, especially on June 3, 2013. This son - truly blessed by Almighty God, for Jesus Christ Holy Name sake, is certainly a blessing to his entire family! He has a full time job and a part - time job. He also has a court summons on June 3, 2013 for driving violations. No drugs or alcohol are involved. Praise the Lord! Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. (I Thessalonians 5:16 -18) Thank You Faithful Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ; and, Almighty God's army of prayer warring saints, for all of your - truly needed for such a time as this - intercessory prayers on behalf of my son. Amen.

Today is the 6th anniversary of my Dad's death, although the word 'anniversary' doesn't seem to fit. His name: John Robert 'Jack' Martzell. He was an attorney here in New Orleans and without a doubt one of the greatest men of law whom ever lived. His code of ethics and his knowledge of the law were unparalleled. Our relationship was estranged for most of my life, even though I was his firstborne. I DID make it a habit of kissing my Dad every time I saw him. Many years ago, I questioned that practice to my mother. She told me: "Don't ever stop kissing your father." I listened to her, she was right. Three days before his death, my Dad and I shared a glass of wine and a game of chess. Over the chessboard, I said: "Dad, I play to WIN, just like you in court!" He smiled and began to tell me how he prepared for trial: the research, the strategies, the moves. He then says: "And then, Son, you go in and if you're better than the other guy, you win!" Smiling I say: "So you've never worked a day in your life." "All play", he said. I dedicate this post to my Dad and pray that he enjoys his rest in heaven; and I pray I make him proud of me some day. I love you Dad and I miss you.
