Struggling Son @ College
My Son is a freshman in college and emailed me this morning that he is quitting. He was in the top 5% of his graduating class, earned a FULL 4 year scholarship to Wofford College and suddenly wants to throw it all away. Only seems interested in video games and tv. I am devastated that he would waste this opportunity after such hard work...and especially how hard we struggled to get him there. I am a single Mother of two and have been unemployed since June 2010 due to corporate cutbacks etc. We lost our home yet still managed to get him to Wofford.... PLEASE Pray for him - that he will realize this is his chance to make a different life for himself and his future. Pray that he will regain his motivation BEFORE it is too late - that he will return to classes and work hard to make the most of this opportunity. And also please pray for me - that I will find the words and the means to help him before he makes a tremendous mistake that will affect him the rest of his life. Thank You
