twins, eye surgery, heavy heart burden

I have recently asked for prayer here, for my twin sons and their eye surgery. After 4 hours of measurements and observation, the MD said that they were having major eye surgery that most kids do not go through. I really questioned whether to proceed with only a 50/50 success rate. We did and the boys got through surgery after a very long day. The surgeon was able to do what he planned. We have a 6-8 week wait to see if the surgeries were a success. The brain has to go through a retraining phase with the different positions of the eyes. One sone is having double vision right now and his brother's vision actually has improved, but the concern with the surgeon is will it hold or will it regress during the retraining phase. Unfortunately, if it regresses, we can be looking at some real detrimental consequences. We've been keeping the boys low key right now. They still are experiencing pain and their eyes look so sore. I'm trying my best not worry and give it all to the Lord, but worry still has a way of creeping in at times. Please pray for their healing and encouragement...for vision healed...so that some day they may experience life with adequate vision for even a future driver's license...thank you.
