Prayer for a VERY long road......and an end in sight?

HELP! It's been so long and don't really know where to start so this is not to long. My husband hurt himself at work almost 2 years ago, on June 10, 2010. He's been out of work ever since, WITHOUT any kind of pay (Worker's Comp is fighting his clam & he was denied S.S.D. so now he is in the appeal process) He was 2/3 of our income. I work, but only make 1/3 of our total income. The Lord has blessed us with all kinds of assistance for our mortgage & utilities and some of our friends have been a real big help too. The church we have been going to has help out a little but I don't think they really get it, what we are dealing with.They say they pray & I know prayer IS very important but that's all they do; no other actions, like a phone call or a word of encouragement. It has been such a long road that my husband & I have been on, we are wearing out, trying to hold on to the hope we have in our Lord & HIs promises. We just want some kind of normal life back. The last Workers Comp hearing is scheduled for tomorrow, Monday April 30,2012. Then we need to wait another 2 - 4 months for the judge's decision. Mean while his S.S.D. hearing is set for May 10, 2012. Again we will need to wait for another 2-4 months for this judge's decision too. The best way I find to discribe what we are going through is Chinese water torture but then I look up and realize..... we are walking on the water and the Lord is right in front of us. We just need prayer to keep our eyes on HIm, to see the hope & Light at the end of a VERY long tunnel! Thank you all!
