Please pray for O'Donoghue. He needs salvation and healing from sickle cell anemia. It's gotten really bad. He's only in his 30's, and I'm scared it's going to kill him. Please ask God to heal him and let him live a long time so he can live a full live. He also needs salvation. Please ask God to save both his life, and his soul. Thank you.

I would just like to thank Life965FM for the work that they do. It is so uplifting to listen to the stories and music on your station every day. I would like to share my story. I have used the Prayer Works site a few times and it is just amazing to see that people you don't know Praying for you. Not all my Prayers have been answered but God is working on it. My girlfriend is still searching for a job in SF but the strength and Faith and uplifting i have gotten from seeing that people are Praying for me and her is so encourging. So I told you about how only one friend knows that I'm depressed. Well I told my closest friend. She acts like I can just snap in and out of it and she thinks I'm weak for my Dna makeup. I also told my parents. I'm now and attention wanting b-*!&. I feel even worse about my self and its literally all I can do to hang on now. Bullying is horrible now and I blame my self for everything even some things that aren't myself. I'm struggling in my faith and my Identity. I guess I pucker out when God was giving out good things to have like love and integrity. Life is worse and I feel more dead than alive. I understand plenty now. God hates me and hes punishing me.

These past few months I have asked for prayer in hopes of receiving a CNA job. The Lord graciously granted my request. However, I was extremely unhappy with the duties of the job and it was affecting my emotional health as I wasn't sleeping at night. I decided to quit the CNA job because I felt the Lord was dealing with me and wanted something better for me. After searching and praying about my future career, the Lord placed it on my heart to finish my medical assisting degree. I am now back in school and have such a calm feeling about my future because I know the Lord lead me down this path. The Lord has been so good to me and I will always listen and let Him lead.

Ryan an Iraq Vet was facing being homeless and jobless by the end of February if God didn't come through for him. He is still looking for full time employment, but has decided to return to school full time to get a degree. He is also going to finish training for the Reserves that he just re-enlisted with. In the fall, I asked for prayers that my husband and I would be able to have children. We will welcome our first child this fall. We feel so blessed that it was God's will for us to be parents. I had submitted a prayer request regarding a tough decision I was making about whether to change jobs. I enjoyed many aspects of my former job, but it required quite a bit of travel, which was stressful for me and my family. I was looking at an opportunity with little to no travel, although the compensation and benefits structure was different. However, after a lot of prayer - and I'm convinced that all of the prayers I received here helped, too - I made the decision to take the new job, and it has been a very positive change for me. There are still adjustments to make at home and with finances, but in the long run, I know in my heart this was the right thing to do....and I believe there's a reason why this new opportunity was presented to me. Thank you for the prayers!

In early February I asked for prayer for my Faith to be strong, my bondage of addiction to be broken! I want to thank each and everyone of the people that prayed for me. I am now 7 days clean, my faith is being restored a little more everyday! All the praise and glory go to God our Father in Heaven! Weeks ago I asked for healing prayers for JP. Our Lord's will was done, not our earthly wishes. Jesus took JP by the hand and led him home on February 16th. He is greatly missed, but we know that he is truly free now. Please continue to pray for his mom, dad, brother and sister.

Here is my original post and i will follow it with an update. My family is going thru a situation right now that is no longer in our control its all in God's hands. Please pray that whatever the outcome is that God will provide our needs in his way. The update is this, God has faithfully been providing our needs but at the end of May we have no more money, we are praying that the money we are waiting for shows up in time to let us keep our house, God is good and we trust him no matter what the outcome is. Thank you my Christian family for praying for us, My husband is less stressed ( still working 6:30 am to 8:00pm every M-F, 8:00-3:00pm Sat. 12:00-3:00pm on Sun. ( some paid & some not) God is Good, My mom (59) is in a wonderful relationship now after loosing her husband to alchohol and suicide, Sept. 2001. She has has her battles but she found Christ again and all is GOOD. I lost my Job and I feel really blessed, I feel Jesus right here and I am going to ge ok, I wish all could feel this , I pray any person going through a bad, sad, rough, nagative time in there lives. PLease raise your hands up and talk to him, tell him what you really feel ( from your heart,,,,,not your gut)! He'll listen, the answer will come, remember, you may not like were he leads you, BUT if it's God your following, ALL will be ok, Just trust............I'm speaking from experiance, Amen. I have a request, plz pray my brother will find a way in life, he works with oil and car films, and he's done this for 5 years now. It's giving him headaches. In January I asked for prayers for my child (and entire family), as my son has been ill since September and no one could seem to figure out what was wrong with him. A month ago he had some tests and procedures done in the hospital and we finally got some answers. He is now on appropriate medication and we have been able to make necessary diet changes. He is finally back to the happy, fun, carefree baby he was prior to falling ill. In addition, he is finally starting to gain weight and make movement towards talking. This has been a tremendous relief to us and his sister. We know that the answers came as a result of all the prayers. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers that helped us through this difficult time.

Thank you to everyone who prayed for the hospital to be merciful with my non-covered knee surgery last August. I am saddened to say that they were not gracious and made no adjustments to the over $15,000 in costs. Please pray for me to be strong for my family. Over a year ago I posted prayer requests for our 14 year old grandson Kade. He was given the gift of life on Thursday.! He had 3 previous heart surgeries' the first one being at 8 days old. Before he went into surgery , he asked us to pray for the family who gave him the heart. Even tho I haven't asked for prayer lately on prayer works, , I have been receiving notices that we have been prayed for. He has a long road ahead but God has blessed our family beyond our wildest dreams! God bless the donors family who we pray for very moment we see him..I pray the donars family knows their loved ones heart is perfect and Kade will be able to thank him when they meet in heaven someday. 2 months ago my sister asked for prayer for me and my family. We were adopting and had been chosen by a birthmom. When the baby was born, she decided to parent. Our hearts were torn. I was so proud of her for being willing to make the necessary sacrifices to parent this beautiful child, but I already loved this child like she was my own. The email notices that someone was praying for us were awesome! Then again, my sister asked for prayers for our family as we were were getting impatient with the adoption process. Again, we are so grateful for every prayer lifted up on our behalf. Last Friday we found out that we were matched with a birthmom in North Carolina. Yesterday we found out that it's a little girl. We are anxiously awaiting the OK for us to travel to go pick her up. One thing that was constant through this entire process is that God is, was, and forever will be Good! There's no unanswered prayer. Some are answered with a "no", a "not yet", or an "I have a better idea", but they're all answered. Thank you so much for the prayers!

I wish to Thank everyone for Praying for Syliva ,she is now home and has been on bed on bed rest as there are more than a few blood clots. The Dr put a filter in her vein in her groin to keep the clots from going into her heart and or brain. Other than that she seems to be in good spirits and wishes to thank everyone who has prayed for her. As she said "without prayer it could well be a different ending. I had posted a prayer request on this site in December, 2011, asking for prayer for my four year old son who had just been diagnosed with leukemia. God did not answer our prayers the way we had hoped, but he has done amazing things to show His love for us. It's been almost a year now since my son has gone Home, and I occasionally get an email that someone has just prayed for us. My daughter had a restraining order put on her by her boyfriend because a 3rd person said he should do that. That has now been removed. Thank you all for your prayers with that. The only issue they have going on now is that there is still a 3rd person who keeps trying to tear them apart. All the fights and misunderstanding they have is due to her, this 3rd person. Please pray that her boyfriend is able to see the problems the 3rd person is causing, to beleive what my daughter tells him is the truth, and to move back to our home where we can help him much better. Help him to see that the 3rd person is just trying to ruin their lives just to be vindictive and spiteful. Satan must live in her heart. Also pray for my daughter to continue to have patience and understanding because she is almost ready to give up on him. If she does, he will have no one because the 3rd person will think she has won and will just walk away from him leaving him alone as she has done this to people before. We see prayers are being answered, but there is still a long road to go. Thanks in advance for any prayers you can give.

God answers prayers, thanks for all the prayer support. After a year of temporary custody, my son now has full physical custody of his beautiful 2 yr old daughter. His now ex-wife left the courtroom screaming threats and obscenities and has called by phone a few times while drunk, but has not even asked for the supervised visits she was awarded. Please continue to pray for my son and his daughter and also for his ex-wife, that she may someday have the ability to be a positive part of her daughter's life, but until then - stop harassment. My son is now able to begin recovery from the abuse he suffered. The Lord blessed him with with wonderful loving parenting skills and a beautiful reason to move forward in life.

Always remember that God knows what we need even more than we do. He knows more than we could ever even imagine. My daughter has been struggling with her self esteem her whole life and had gotten on the wrong path. The last year has been very hard. I have tried so hard to direct her back to the right way, but she just would fight me even more. When I finally hit rock bottom, I accepted that GOD knows all and is the only one who can heal her. I did something very scary as a parent, but it is the best thing I have ever done. I told God that I realize that HE is in control and knows what she needs even more than I do and that HE wants her back with Him even more that I do---AND I JUST LET GO..... Since that time, we have seen some remarkable changes in her life. Thank you to the Lord that He helped me realize that I am NOT in charge. Thank you for helping me abandon my self and my CHILD to HIM. And thank you all for the prayers from Prayerworks for my child. You don't know how much they lifted me up. I know we can still have some backpedaling, but I feel God has put her in a position to handle these challenges the RIGHT way now. And as a postscript to a very long post, just know how much your random acts of kindness can influence someone. She called me today almost in tears because she was so touched. She went through the McDonalds drive through and the person ahead of her paid for her food. Something so small but it made such a difference to HER! SO thank you all and all the glory to our awesome GOD!!!

An amazing thing happened today! I have a very good friend who visited with my daughter-in-law today, that, along with all the prayers that have been given on her behalf, she has made remarkable improvement. She has gone from the deepest pit to being able to see the light again. The change is remarkable! Only through prayer and the grace of God could this have happened! Thanks for the prayers!

My son and daughter-in-law have been married for one year. She is still in school and 2 weeks ago she became very anxious and is having difficulty with decision making and coping with stress. She has put her schooling on hold as of right now and this has been very difficult for our family. I have learned over the past year that God had a different plan for me, through the encounters with that individual. Things didn't go as I had planned, but it was God's plan. Since last year, I have come out of my shell more and I am more willing to talk to people, even those whom I don't know. Also, I learned that just praying for someone may be the only thing God needs you to do, as was the case in my situation. I previously posted about a broken relationship and afraid to lose connection with one of my ex's family members. Well, lately we've had some time we could spend together--enjoying each other, but more importantly worshipping, studying God's Word, and spending hours in prayer. Help me praise God that we are neither too immature to stop our friendship. This person is a HUGE influence in my faith walk with God. Please pray for them and their family. God is so good---pray I am able to keep my eyes open to the GOOD He is working in my life even when some things fall apart. My 17 year old cousin was in a horrible burn accident and he burned over 80% of his body, he has been gone for 3 months now, I miss him so much, he is my best friend. Thanks to the prayers of everyone on the hope line, they are planning to send him home in about a week. There is still a lot of recovering to do. He is a very active kid and loves to be outdoors just as I do. He lost his left thumb and half of his right thumb and some finger tips, so please keep him in your prays that he will be able to adapt to the new normal. Thank you so much everyone!

Thank you to the people who have been praying for a resolution to my hospital bills following my knee surgery. The physicians have showed great kindness by decreasing there bills and fees. Continued prayer is still needed, as the hospital is still wanting all their money or a payment that I cannot afford. Biopsies came back non-cancerous. We got approval for a townhouse, just have some paperwork with SF Housing to finish and an inspection. Hope to move in next week. Definitely want to be in by Christmas. A home for Christmas would be wonderful. An end to our homelessness. Yes!! Break up with the ex has brought us to friendship basis mostly. He is trying to push it by wanting things I don't want to do as a Christian woman. He has relapsed in his recovery on finding out his friend took his life last weekend. I feel the best thing for me and my children is to keep him away. Prayers for the strength to not let him use my feelings to suck us back in. I see now he has some more work to do in his recovery and mindset. I want a Godly man who is willing to be a husband to me and father to my children. A man who wants to guide us, protect us, provide for us, but most importantly unconditionally love us. I am still seeking a job. Need something before mid-Jan or I lose the housing assistance. Pray the right job comes along. God knows all the details. Prayers for family members who know Jesus but don't seek him. They are so hurtful and mean. I pray He puts many other Christians in their path to show them the way. The truth. Life. Thank you so much for your prayers.

About 3 months ago I wrote a couple prayers about my 22 year old son who had been a lost sheep and seemed to be found. Following that, many prayed. Thank you for that. he was good for a little while. However, no long after he became suicidal and depression seemed to worsen. Luckily he continued to talk to me and take my advice. He began listening to this station. He is a college student and found a very similar station in his area. I sent in another prayer that he take a step to get professional counseling, and people....he did! There were ups and down in the road, things seemed to get worse but were blessings in disquice and in a realitvely short time his life really did turn around. It's been 3 months now and every night when I talk to him it reinforces that he is still on the right track. I cannot tell you how grateful and how much hope it gave me and still gives me to know that anytime day or night I can write a prayer on this network and have complete strangers prayer for me/us. God bless you all. and Thank you to all who contribute to Life 96.5 to keep this radio station available to change lives.

Biopsies came back non-cancerous!!! Praise God. Go back in 6 months. Still need prayer on a home, application process is taking awhile. Really want to be in our own home before Christmas. Also, waiting for answer on the right job. Applying for everything that comes close to my experience. And well, waiting on answer on the ex. Do we try to go forward or just end it. God can do anything. All things are possible through Him. I give it all to Him. He knows me, my heart, my struggle, my desire for our own home, to not be homeless. About a year ago I asked for prayer for Rod who was in an terrible car accident. Those prayers have been answered. He is was in a life/death situation and his family wasn't sure if he would make it. It has been a long road but through prayer, rehab, and many surgeries, good medical doctors and nurses he is on his way back to a normal life. Please continue to pray for him, his wife and young son as they move forward. He also continues to need plastic surgery for his head and and healing for that. This is truly a miracle in the making but he has had so many people praying for him!

I want to thank everyone for their prayer. I thought I had updated this to let you all know my husband kept his job. That was about a year ago now. 4 weeks ago he DID lose his job. It is called 'displacement'. We believe this is a blessing in disguise and trusting that God has something BETTER in store for us. He hopes to find something by Jan 1st. His mother is actively dying now, and will meet with Hospice this week. My husband and son also had their identities stolen, by a temp worker in Mass, at a bank we got a loan from. Please pray for us-we've been a bit overwhelmed. We know God is good, and has a plan in all this, but appreciate any prayer support We are so grateful for this site and for Christians who will actively pray

A couple months ago I asked for prayers for our son who has been having medical testing done since August. It seemed like each result lead to more questions, and ultimately, a hospital in Minneapolis for answers. What we have found out is that he has a cancerous tumor on his pituitary gland. He will be having surgery on Tuesday and then chemotherapy starts. It's hard to face this reality every day, but for now we look to the near future, sometimes the moment we are in right now. God has our moments right now, and our eternity in His hands and we trust Him.

Got a call today from a program that helps homeless families get on the housing list and also helps manage the finances, parenting, and whatever else a family needs to make it. I want to say thank you to Life 96.5 for continuing to play such uplifting music. Sadly my wife did pass away in December of 2011. Another heartbreak is that my mother passed away in August of 2012. I am saddened by the deaths of the 2 most important women in my life. I have been searching for strength to get through these next few months. I know that my family wants to get together for Thanksgiving. It will be nice to be with family but at the same we all hurting from the losses in the past year. I cry every day for my wife. She was my rock and planner for the things that we wanted to do. My church has been a support to me. I have people to talk to which also helps but it is just not the same as talking to your wife. I have had happy moments. My daughter is engaged to a wonderful man. That is an exciting part in our lives. I just pray to God for strength through the holiday season and beyond.

I cannot thank you enough for the prayers. I requested prayers for a friend who is had a hysterectomy and found out that she had cancer the beginning of the month. She was able to get into a specialist in Omaha a few weeks after her hysterectomy. She already has a treatment plan for her cancer and the outcome looks promising. She is in good spirits and she is very thankful also for the prayers. Keep them coming as this hard road has not ended for her.

They both are tired but no longer have the fever. Marlin has been in the hospital and is now in a wheel chair. Thank you for your prayers for our daughter. She is moving into our basement this Saturday. She will be coming from Billings, MT. I would ask prayer for her safety as she loads a U-haul and drives here to Sioux Falls as her dad and I are not able to go there to help her pack and drive the distance. Also I ask prayer for the transition from living on her own to living at home. We are glad for here to be closer to home but knos there are a lot of changes for her as well as us. I'm not sure if her job transfer is complete or not.

thank you for praying for my 95 yr old mother. She fell the third time and after the third surgery her heart started failing. She was put in hospice care and she died a month later. Prayers for the family to help heal through the grief will be appreciated.

You all have been praying for me for several months. Right now, I have an application in for a nursing home in the area. Even though it isn't what I exactly wanted, I guess that God had other plans. I haven't worked in a nursing home or hospital in many years. I am willing to work nights and I feel that I would be able to do that work. I am still believing for some kind of hospital job where I can work floor work. I also would love to have a travel nursing job. I sometimes am not sure what the Lord has in store for me but I am being obedient and continue to apply where I can. I also applied for a Home Care Job on line and haven't heard anything. This place has openings for private duty nursing positions. I am just being patient and waiting on what He will want me to do. I still would appreciate the prayers. Thank you.

A few months ago, I asked for prayer to feel the pull of God if it was in His will for me to enter into ministry; all the while, I actively had conversations at my university with my anti-theistic friends and had been slowly developing an insatiable passion for apologetic work. One day I suddenly realized that the passion for sharing the gospel to unbelievers is what God has called me to do. Sometimes it takes a few moments of quiet consideration to truly hear God's voice and to trace the path that He has led you down. I am truly grateful for all of the prayer, and can only ask for more that I might be able to utilize my passion and talent at my university and throughout my life.

My daughter has decided to move from Billings to Sioux Falls to take some of the finacial pressures off. She has been boring friends cars since her's broke down. I would ask for prayers that all the arrangements can be made by Labor Day weekend. My husband, son, and I will be making the 800 mile trip to move her belongings here and want her to come with us. She has to get a transfer for her main job, quit her second job and work out the details with her landlord. Please pray that we will be intune with God's timing as He controls everything.

I have to say a big thank you to all who prayed for me & my friend since my post on Sunday about my past trials & the upcoming court hearing for my friend. It was uplifting today when we attended the court hearing for my friend. Good news is that a close friend showed up to support us which was very appreciated & I am proud to say that my friend gets to retain legal custody of his children at this time. Even though they are still placed in foster care & that he has to follow thru with the recommendations the DHS asked previously. But a negative is that my friend was told that I wasnt allowed to attend any visits with him due to the recommendations that they felt I was an unsuitable person. But hopefully with the help of GOD & his lawyer they find it in their heart to grant me the chance to prove myself worthy of being able to attend the visits. I know I messed up in my past but am hoping that everyone sees it fit to grant me another chance in my life as well. Please keep the prayers coming our way so that things can work out for us in that area as well. I thank everyone for all the prayers they have sent. THANK YOU

A couple of weeks ago I posted a prayer request because my Dad while on vacation in NH had gone out for a walk and not returned to the rental cottage. The NH State Police and the NH Fish and Game launched a massive 5 day search for my Dad. When it was scaled back they still had no clues. My family made the sad journey back to their home in NC without knowing where my Dad was or even if he was still alive. The search continued in various forms and the Lt. in charge kept in close contact with my Mom. I got so many notes saying that " Someone Prayed For You", the story was shared friend to friend, church to church on social media, regualr media and by word of mouth. We felt comforted and loved but felt as if my Dad was lost forever. 18 Days after he went on that walk he was picked up by a sheriff in Western NC. He did not know who he was but he did know the initials and date inside his wedding ring. The sheriff office used that data to find him in the Missing Person's Data Base. At 3:30 am the NH State Police called my mom in Central NC with the news that my Dad was safe in the Western part of NC. My Mom and sister drove to pick him up. He recognized the car and my mom right away! He is beginning to regain his memory bit by bit. He walked and hitchhiked over 1000 miles, over 18 days, working odd jobs to get to NC because he thought he might know someone there! We are so appreciative of all the support and prayers we have received and so thankful to God that we have him back!

ANSWERED PRAYER: I got the images back today and praise God for that. I had been too attached to getting them and perhaps even feeling like I would not get them but I did today and he left me a note saying sorry for the wait and he has been communicating with me and my other friends and other people have been leaving me very respectful and nice comments. Please continue to pray with me that on Thursday I do very well at my catwalk show in Jesus almighty name. Please pray I am respected, love and cared for and noticed by everyone that I want to notice me and the right people who love and care for me are in my life. Please pray that every one communicates with me and bothers with me and I feel very good about it. Please continue to pray my page gets a lot more likes and that I have a very impressive high fashion portfolio and get more and more experience in my job but praise God I have the confidence to pose without direction and have been doing well and getting support from many people in my career. Five months ago I lost my beautiful baby girl. There were complications and she lived for only two days before we had to say goodbye. Not even a week after she passed, the school I was working at downsized and I was one of the teachers cut. Ever since then I feel like my life is stuck. I have had interviews but have not found another teaching job yet. I am asking if you have a moment, to please pray for me to have strength. I need strength to continue living without my daughter and strength to continue looking for a teaching job. I would greatly appreciate it. God has a plan, I just need some help to understand it.

I am 21 yrs old, work for a park and we mow soccer fields and my fellow employee who is a good friend of mine from work who is in his late 70's got a call one morning that his sister was dying in the hospital. I never seen an old timer cry so hard it made me tear up. He left work to be with his sister. I drove my mower on the trail and remembered that 96.5 music is amazing and my mom always wanted us kids to listen all the time. That day the sun was not supposed to be out at all...I said a prayer for this older gentleman's sister and listened to Life 96.5 for help and guidance. The song "Light up the sky" came on and the lyric.."Light light light up the sky light up the sky" came on and the sky showed through sunlight for 15 sec and no more sunlight was seen the rest of the day. I knew God answered my prayer to all that mans sister to live a month or so longer as God desires and the mans sister passed away 3 months later. God is GOOD!

I am overwhelmed with the outpouring of prayers that we have recieved!! My situtation was about whether to go back into the medical field or to take a much less paying job at our school nearby. I was offered the job at the school and I accepted. I feel very good about this decision and I know that God opened the door! I just ask for continued prayer for my husband that either work picks up by leaps and bounds or that some other door opens for him to look into another business opportunity. We can't go through another winter like the last two!! We can't afford it!! Thank you all again, we are so blessed!!

My daughter delivered may 24th. Mom and baby were great. She doing great with her new son. They now are renting a house, which gives them a lot more room. Praise God for a safe delivery and a healthy baby boy. Also for their new living condition. It in its self was a Gid thing. Thanks to all who prayed for her. THANK YOU all who have prayed for my daughter and her many diseases- In June I took my daughter to a prayer/deliverance pastor who prayed for her healing, and so many symptoms were healed: visual problems connected to migraines - they are gone (black spots, weird lights, wavy lines in vision). THE MIGRAINES THEMSELVES are gone (they used to happen a few times a week!) A limp that she had because of crooked hips and a shorter leg, disappeared. Much chronic pain left - the whole right side of her body was ALWAYS in pain, but not now! Her digestion is the best it has been in years, and also, no more seizures! My daughter has been bed ridden on and off for almost 11 years. ... she seems to be experiencing increasing well being and healing each day...thank you all who prayed. We are amazed -- and praising the Lord. Please praise the Lord with us...if anyone would pray for her spiritual growth, I will thank you in Heaven...please pray that she becomes a student of the Word with a heart for worship...

It seems like God has been not opening the door for me in local hospital work. I have been doing some travel nursing at a hospital 55 miles away casually. Otherwise I work a small amount of Home Care. So I am just going to have to wait and see what He has in store for me. I guess I continue to need prayer for direction at this time. I have learned a lot of patience through this whole deal. My husband is permanently disabled and his social security disability is not much and we have been living on a settlement that we got when he had a faulty hip cup. But we know that this will not last forever. Also, we have been on our Cobra insurances from our last jobs and this costs us over $1500.00 a month. So a need for direction to go is big now. I would be willing to travel nurse if need be. I am thinking I might have to find something else for now. Thanks for all your prayers so far.

I want to thank everyone who prayed for my son and family while he was once again in the hospital after getting strep and then having uncontrolled vomiting and then dehydration. This last stay lasted 6 days as he continued to have a fever for several days and then he had his tonsils and addenoids removed. There was concern of possibly havin mono in addition to the strep, but tests showed it was likely another virus that caused the fever. His addenoids looked quite infected and like he never really got over the infection previous times, so it was a good thing to have them removed. He was dismissed feeling much better, but today is not as rambunctious. Struggling with eating and fluids, but know that with everyones prayers, he will be himself within the next week. God has blessed our family beyond words this week. We have had more support than we ever knew we had. All of our prayers have been answered this week with your help. Thank you and god bless each and every one reading this.

On June 22 my identical twin nephews will be undergoing surgery for trach's and G-Tubes. They were born 9 weeks early and just reached their gestational birthdays this week. The boys were born with an undiagnosed muscle disorder and while their little lives are so delicate, we have witnessed God performing miracles in so many ways through these precious little boys. My sister and brother-in-law (Mommy & Daddy) have incredibly firm faith in God's plan and timing for everything He has brought to their family, but I know there is a reality of parenting children with disabilities that so many of us take for granted and I am requesting prayers for their entire family. Prayer requests that these 2 sweet little brothers will be able to handle their surgeries and continue to grow and thrive and that my sister and her husband can continue to cling tight to their firm faith and know that their journey through so much suffering and joy is leading so many to turn to Christ in times of trial.

Well, I have an interview on June 14th at a hospital about 45 miles from me, which is fine. I also got a call from the travel nursing recruiter and I have 2 shifts this weekend at the hospital I have been picking up 12 hours shifts at as needed since Februiary. The recruiter called back with shifts to fill in July also and I picked up 7 shifts. Please continue to pray for the interview that I am having on Thursday. This hospital would have around 20-30 hours per week which would be a good fit for me. Thank you so much, Prayer warriors. I know of Whom is in control of this situation and you all have been obedient to take it to the foot of the Cross. He is higher than I!!! But please continue to pray that this hospital I am interviewing at likes what they see. Lord, help me to put it all in Your Hands----

I had to update everyone on my Mom, who is receiving treatments for her third bout with colon cancer. The prayers are working! She is regaining her strength, and at her last Chemo appointment, the doctor was pleased with her blood work, commenting that he wished he could give some of his other patients her platelets! We are so thrilled! She is regaining her physical strength as well, and when I'm with her in public, it just warms my heart to hear all the people who say they've been praying for her. A little while ago, I posted a prayer request, about how lonely I was. Well, God is awesome!! He has given me a wonderful job, and many people to interact with everyday. I am feeling great and I'm not lonely anymore. Jesus is my best friend, and having Him in my life is something that I cannot find words to express the way I feel. He has set me free!! Thank you for prayers, after multiple acts of violence, my son's wife left with their 13mo child. After 4 weeks not knowing where his precious child was, the protection orders filled with false allegations against me and my son were dropped and my son has had his daughter almost everyday the past 3 weeks for at least a few hours while waiting for temporary custody hearing. This previously active, bright child was traumatized (wringing her hands, silent, still and screamed when she heard anyone say "no") Thank God, she is now back to talking, running, hugging; still reluctant to let daddy out of sight. Hearing is next Thursday. Please pray for my son and his daughter. His wife is a convincing manipulator and continues to make false claims, she has moved out of Children's Inn and will not disclose who she is staying with, (1bedroom apt with some man she recently met, claims she and child sleep in the bed) changes names and stories daily, says is moving to 3bedroom house with fenced yard with another friend she recently met. She is emotionally unstable, violent and I am afraid of her. Pray for her as well

Our daughter-in-law's dad took his own life on Friday night. The funeral will be Tuesday morning. Please pray for salvation, peace and comfort for all of the family. Our son and daughter-in-law have also been trying to sell their house for months and it just isn't moving. She is also pregnant so lots of stress. Thank you. My friend from Rapid City with the sick baby are now out of the hospital-they have been for a while-sorry for taking so long to update. Baby is doing well and the parents talk of God is increasing!! Thank you for all of the prayers!

Today a good friend of mine, whom I asked for prayers for faith, as they do not believe, told me they said a prayer. They laughed it off like no big deal, but then said, really, I actually did. I know it's not much, but I feel God has cracked open the door. Continue prayers for them to find the Lord. Amen!!!

My boyfriend and I broke up last night. After almost 4 years, his heart wasn't in it anymore. I've never gone through something so hard, but I know that God will help me get through this. As hard as this is, I know that God has a plan, and it will all work out for the better. I'm glad I finally have answers. Thank you all for your prayers!

Baby Elliot is now 3 1/2 months old. He is moved beyond crying every day all day. It is only by the grace of God and the many prayers raised via this avenue that he moved out of the colic stage. I posted about being diagnosed with placenta previa and complications with our pregnancy. (After having previous miscarriages we were praying for a healthy baby.) We are so thankful to God and the support/prayers from prayer works. Found out today that my placenta moved to where it should be and we have a healthy baby @ 21 weeks. Praise God. It was a comfort to know people were praying for us & our baby. Prayers answered & again all praise & glory to God who answered so many prayers! Thank-you all who have prayed for us. God Bless!

Earlier this month I posted this prayer request: My mom will have a PET scan tomorrow at 1 PM with a physician follow up visit scheduled for Monday. Mom is 85 years old and was diagnosed and treated (chemotherapy) for Stage 3C ovarian cancer in October 2000. She is currently "raising" my 17 year old nephew who chose to remain in his hometown and live with her after his mother (my sister) passed away in October of 2007. His father had passed in March 2004. Please pray against the spirit of anxiety and fear and for God's provision and plan to be clearly evident as we go through these difficult days. Since that time the following has happeded--PET scan showed suspicious nodules in Mom's lungs (non smoker) which had to be biopsied. Radiologist said the nodules were highly suspicious. Report came back as non cancerous. However, Mom will continue monthly tests for possible recurrence of ovarian cancer (has been in remission for 11 years). Still has significant weakness on right side and difficulty walking/has to use a walker. MRI showed a possible small growth on spinal cord. Myelogram scheduled for Friday at 9 am. Please pray for God's peace, direction and divine healing as we continue to work through these health concerns. Mom is fearful of the myelogram. Thank you for your continued prayers. Every time I get an email notification that "someone just prayed for you" I thank God for his faithfulness. May God bless each of you!

I have a very good friend who I am concerned is depressed. She just moved away to law school after breaking a loooong relationship with her boyfriend and her friends only care about her if she is out getting drunk. They have no concern about her well wowing except to have fun. Her heart is broken, she is incredibly negative all of a sudden, and she has extreme anxiety. She openly admits she has no faith. To her, she sees all religions as false and unreal. I have a very open faith and try really hard not to hide it around her. I have tried talking to her, but she won't listen. She needs the Lord. She comes from a devout worshipping and loving family. I'm not sure what else to do. Pray with me that God will send someone into her life where she is and lead her to the Lord, as she has no interest of those helping already in her life. open her heart to find the Lord.

Last week on my wife's mammogram they discovered a dense nodule on her right breast and today she went to have a ultra sound, but they re did a mammogram on her right breast and after looking st the second picture said that it was just the breast folded back on itself so therefore she does not have cancer or anything else wrong with her, except me. After 10 hour neck fusion surgery on Tuesday, 31st - Caleb has a neck brace he will wear from his waist to his neck for 6-12 weeks while his bones fuse. This is uncomfortable and he is still in quite a bit of pain. He is out of ICU and hopes to be able to use their plane tickets to fly back to Charlotte, NC on Tuesday. They have been having meetings with PT & OT who have been helping to make a plan for his return to his home and surroundings. Caleb will likely have to continue PT & OT sessions at least twice a week once he returns home. The prayers of many have been felt and please continue to keep Caleb and his family in prayer for healing, less pain, and to be able to sleep and adjust to the neck brace. God is good.

Dear Prayerworks Community - Today we are on our knees thanking God for his answer to all the prayers given for our son. Thank you, Lord Jesus for giving us negative test results for the genetic tests. Thank you for not allowing that devastating news to be a part of his testimony. Even though he is still dealing with injuries from that crash, he continues to praise YOU! While we know we are not out of the woods because he is not growing properly, we are, in tears thankful that it is not something in his genetic code. Thank you for the people who called to say they were thinking of us, even though they didn't know what was going on. We have been told by a few that we will have way more options as of June 1st because all the collage kids will be gone. I saw the guy once agian today. I was able to aviod him, but my thoughts were that no matter what I want to say to him, he is not worth it. I have a hard time asking for prayer, because i consider it an honor to pray for others and listen to them with the compassion the Jesus did for me. Yes it is true I do not like to complain. the Bible speaks against it. I have been around people who complain and have a fit and get what they want. I want what God wants for me and my daughter. I have gone to church and turned away. we can't help you because you haven't learned anything. on the phone.would not meet with us. I got to go to a James McDonald,Lord change me.He talked about how good it is to have others looking in on you because sometimes it is very good to have friends who will tell you what you need to know.I like that. We have been asking for help. Kristina had a very hard time at school, she needs a good Godly college now. It would break my heart daily to see this happening to her. Pray that I walk in forgiveness daily for those who have harmed us and I have allowed them to blow out my candle. We want to soar with the eagles. A home Proverbs 24:4 . organized.. guest room, entertain angels,kitchen,library, office.etc. my heart longs for a home.. help. Pray that I remain content with what I have. Thank you for the many prayers lifted for Baby Elliot. Friday baby Elliot was awake for 3 hours in the morning and did not cry...he sat contently in his bouncy chair. My daughter sat in unbelief and started to cry tears of joy and said many thanks for the people who prayed for them and grateful thanks to God for answering them. I ask you continue to pray for baby Elliot for he bagan crying again non stop. On this Christmas eve day he is still crying. We have another Dr Appointment Tuesday in hopes to narrow down why this is happening and how we can find relief for him. She truly appreciated the emails mothers have sent giving her tips on what worked for them and their baby.....all very much appreciated and please keep them coming. Knowing she is not alone in this has brought her great comfort. Thanks for your continued prayers. God gave them a glimps of just how good He is to those who trust in him....even if for just 3 hours

Work had been very stressful the last few months and Im working harder and harder but in sales nothing is easy. I was finaly to the point where I need to ask myself "is this for me". I wasnt sure what to think, say, or do? So last night I was a local Christian school event and was almost day dreaming when I looked up at a picture (I had never noticed before) of Jesus pointiong his finger and at the bottom it said "trust in the lord". Money right now is very tight and at the even I was handed thank you cards with cash in them for some work I had done. After I left I knew I was in the right place. This moring at work a major client emailed me and wants to work with me and could be a Huge account! You never know but I will keep praying. God is Good All the Time!!!

My husband and I just returned from Family Life's Weekend to Remember. We spent the summer separated, but began to reconcile this fall after I turned everything over to God. It took me a while to realize that I couldn't fix it myself, but rather had to hand it over. My mom must be feeling better after her surgery because she is complaining that her doctor won't let her do some of the stuff she wants. Earlier this year, sometime in April, I submitted a prayer request. Due to me letting a horrible habit get out of control I was under investigation by a detective. Well, I am glad to say that I have finally heard from the detective and he told me that that decided not to press any charges. This has been a incredible answer to prayer. Though, I still to deal with the habit that led me to doing this. Thanks to all those who prayed for me. But, keep me in prayer because I still have to work at getting rid of that habit that led me to this situation.

First all, thank you to all who respond to posted prayers. I've been periodically posting for prayer requests for someone I love (not married to). I've been praying for restoration for us as a couple, but it seems it is not meant to be. Harsh words continue and actions speak louder than words. I would love to hear 'I love you' from him, but don't. It is very difficult to keep praying for him (drinking, passive-aggressive behavior) and yet, I continue to hope God will convict is heart. I ask for all God's warriors to pray for this man. I believe in miracles and I hope for another one! Thank you for sustaining me and giving me hope for another day.

I posted a couple of weeks ago about my mother having to have repeat surgery on her hip. I am happy to report that there was no infection that her prosthesis was just lose and they placed a new one in its place. She seems to be getting better each day. I just want to say Thank you to all of those who posted in response to my prayer for Serenity the other day. I truly know how much the prayers work. My husband came home from work a new man, I know that the alcoholism was what I was hearing that morning, but I also know that your prayers helped open his heart back up and clear his mind enough to know that he needs to work harder at his sobriety. He is working hard and after I posted the message on here and spent some much needed time with the Lord myself I felt a calm come over me also and I was able to see through my cloud of grief & anger to see the man that I love and how sick he is. Please remember all of you who may have an alcoholic in your life, what a terrible family disease this is, but keep praying and relying on positive support to maintain your sanity through it, and also thank you to Al-Anon and my friends there who are helping me through this! I want to thank everyone who prayed for my dad..his test came back as no cancer! PTL! He does have to have another colonoscopy to see how the tubular has grown and go from there. I posted a request for some prayers for a job and God has answered that prayer! Praise him all! I was in a job where there was no good. People were terrible! The job is not what I was told it would be and I was sick every day I went to work. Well God answered my prayers with a job that I pray will work out for me. I posted a prayer request on Sunday for our brother & brother in law that was diagnosised with stge 4 throat cancer and he was to find out today the plan of treatment, surgery or aggressive chemo & radiation. He went today and the drs could find no sign of the tumor and have now decided that he only has some irritation in his throat!!!Praise God, God is so good.!! I would just like to thank everyone that prayed for him, but we knew he was healed before today. Thanks again and may God bless each and everyone of you!!

Thankful for the many prayers - surgery this morning went as planned and after surgery he has full function in his arms & legs. Keep praising our great God who knows all our needs. This spring I asked for prayers concerning my knees, legs, & losing weight. Slowly (but surely) God is helping me with my weightloss. My legs & knees are going to get better as well. God led me to go to a pediatrician (foot doctor), who prescribed orthopedic shoes for me. The new shoes are making a difference too!

My Name is Rafael Garcia I am writing to you to express a concern for a story I hope you might want to help get out. Ive written to many people trying to tell our story but no one has responded or listened. But I am also writing to you on maybe turning this into a family event. I think our story and our brothers story can be great to be included in the Be The Match Foundation. Maybe we can use his day to raise awareness that we do have a positive story especially here in south dakota. Maybe we can get in touch in talk more about this. I am also a cancer survivor and our brother whose name is David Garcia. We are from Lake Andes, South Dakota. My brother passed away on August 21, 2007 from Acute Leukemia (Cancer).We both had the same cancer but before he passed away the small community of Lake Andes, South Dakota raised money to donate for him and our families struggles with the affects of going through something like this. Along with this they proclaimed a day in his honor, in which, is David Garcia Day. We celebrate LIFE, LOVE, HOPE, FAITH AND MOST OF ALL LOVE. I know there our many stories out there just like his. But what makes his story different is he is a Young Native American and from a community based on racial trials. The community came together to help this young boy in his struggle to want to live this life. Sometimes we take this life for granted but they gave him little hope and he gave a lot of people the same thing in return. I will be sending a story my mom wrote on behalf of my brother. Hopefully you or someone could take an interest in our story. Thank You and God Bless YOU... Through all this my mother stood by her son only to end up homeless. Shes been through divorce, poverty, homelessness, to losing her son, brother and her father and her family(divorce) all within the last ten years. As her son it breaks my heart everyday to see my mom struggle everyday. She cant provide for herself because she cant go back to nursing. She has a degree in nursing but cant do that work yet because it reminds her of her son. She helps others more than she ever helps herself. We as a family try to stand together but when you come from poverty it makes it twice as hard. We all believe in Jesus. He keeps us going everyday. I just wish and pray someday someone will listen to our story and help ease our mother's burdens. Or just to listen.... To Whom It May Concern: I needed to write and tell my story because if it's not done, no one will know. No one can tell this story but me. I see signs everyday in Jesus that David truly blessed me and his family. It's just hard to decide what direction I need to go in. I began this story countless times. I pondered over exactly what and how to say things. The one thing that forever stays in my mind is the fact that David's story needed to be told. I am a 54 year old American Indian woman, enrolled in the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe in South Dakota. Some of my accomplishments are as follows: I was a wife for 24 years, I was a single mom of eight children since 1996, I became a Registered Nurse in 1990 and my finest accomplishment is being the school nurse for the Crow Creek Tribal Schools, Stephan, South Dakota for ten years, (1996-2006). The relationships I acquired willl forever stay with me. I feel no greater attainment when being recognized and hugged by the school children I cared for. David Jocko Garcia was born in Yankton, South Dakota on a cold and frigid afternoon February 12, 1991. He was the eighth child that heard my heartbeat, my fifth son. The brother of three sisters, (Tonya, Sissy, Chrissy) and four brothers (Antonio, Rafael, Fernando, Tracy), he would also become the step brother to two more brothers and three sisters. His immediate tiospaye (extended family) would enlarge to ten nephews and two nieces. Challenger, warrior, believer in Jesus, my friend, these are a few words that I use to describe my son, David. I am forever grateful, forever awed by the determination of a young son who was diagnosed with a terrible, awful, ugly disease of Leukemia, which began the fight of a champion. Countless times my son, David, fought the great battle of trying to stay in this world. He was only seven years old on Mother's Day in 1998 when this disease became apparent in our lives once again. Earlier in our life, in 1978 this disease tried to claim one of my older sons, Rafael. In 1979, at the age of 9 months, my son Rafael Lance fought this monster. Now, this is a completely different story, but not to diminish Rafael's battles, this story is about David. Countless times the main question of why two of my sons can have the same disease roamed through the deep dark crevices of my mind? Where was this light to lighten these dark images? What do I do?? Who do I believe in? Why do I feel so alone? Where is my heart? It feels so broken. This happens only in the stories of magazines and books or to other people. Not to me. Statistics of the morbidity of this disease gave us all the uplift in our hearts to know that there was such a gigantic chance that my son David would defeat this disease, such as his brother, whom now is a blessed survivor of 31 years. It never occurred to me that my son would lose one of his battles. I forever just simply believed that this monster would be defeated, such with the knowledge of David's determination and Rafael's history. Rafael was considered CURED in 1989. The belief that David would triumph and beat this disease was always in the utmost corners in my mind. It never occurred to me that David would cease to exist in this world before me, I was taught to believe that parents were the first to leave this world. David endured three years of chemotherapy, after initially reaching "remission", which meant no traces of the leukemia, was evident in his bone marrow. In 2006, when everyone was celebrating Mother's Day, David was being told he relapsed with this awful disease, and the battles began again. He was always the first to say "let's fight this, we did it before, we can do it again". My thoughts, my feelings, my heart believed and never faltered in my support for my son. Another round of chemotherapy and this time we will be trying a bone marrow transplant. Arrangements were made for David's immediate siblings for blood tests to determine if a match could be found to help David. David's sister, Sissy Marie, age 20 was found to be a perfect match. "WooHoo!! We're on our way to Minneapolis, to the University of Minnesota-Fairview, to have a Bone Marrow Transplant" on October 3, 2006. Remarkably, the bone marrow transplant was considered a success, and it was reported by our doctors when it became time to be discharged, David did not experience any marked febrile temperatures, but rather sailed through the time we were hospitalized. Where do I begin with the story of a remarkable young man that wanted to stay in this world where he felt so protected and loved by a family, a huge tiospaye of people and friends that loved David and caused them to think and pray about God and his miracle of life. Many people took the time to pray and think of God when David's name was mentioned. A young man that bridged a humongous gap between cultures that was historically prejudicial in nature in all aspects of life. Remarkably, a small town in eastern South Dakota became united in the effort to help a young American Indian in his battle against a terrible disease. Negative stereotypes about American Indians fostered a hurt between the cultures with numerous conflicts and much misunderstanding. A legacy follows this young man, whom people honored with a special day set aside, to remember his struggles and his extraordinary battles to remain in this life. July 29, 2006 was proclaimed "DAVID GARCIA DAY" in support of David's personal challenge, the city of Lake Andes, South Dakota motivated David by their support and pride for him. When this first day arrived, David was fighting one of his battles, he acquired a bacterial infection that became sepsis, and it was a very emotional time. It was a beautiful day, as all David's family, his friends and the people of Lake Andes were showing their support with fun and games and raising money to help David., we were curled up in a hospital bed. I truly believe that this knowledge gave David the strength he needed to succeed from this battle. My own reaction to the news of the proclamation was SHOCK!! Living in South Dakota, and being an American Indian, life was difficult especially with race relations, and to hear that Charles Mix County, Lake Andes, South Dakota was honoring my son was just simply breathtaking and my thoughts of David bridging that gap were powerful... A true inspiration to many people touched by his life. He was an ordinary young man that was extraordinary with the way he made people feel about themselves. A talented athlete that made football and basketball his pride and joy, not only playing, but any mention of the Philadelphia EAGLES or the love of Tracey McGrady would never diminish. Perhaps it was also the tremendous love of pro wrestling that fueled his passions of life. Monday nights were reserved to watching David's face light up when wrestling came on the television, but also the smiles and laughter were there on Friday night, too. David's smile is what I remember the most. Even the times he was so close to losing any battle, the smile was there, but his eyes told me different, countless times. David's quest for learning began at an early age, why not? He had many role models in his life to learn from, his brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, grandparents, nephews, nieces, friends, his wonderful teachers and his parents... Math was extremely his most gifted area, in 1998 David received an award from President George Bush for his accomplishments in Math with scoring Nationally in the 96th percentile....Countless stories of his remarkable ability to answer questions in current events firsthand or his ability to even know the teachers question firsthand?? He had an amazing photogenic mind. David was full of questions, never the one to just accept things such as they were, he questioned everything. David became a wise soul in a young body. A body that would fail him in his most triumphant battle. David's medical care began in Sioux Falls, South Dakota with chemotherapy. He then was transferred to Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he endured a bone marrow transplant. After hospitalization, we lived at the Ronald McDonald House, another blessing, while David recuperated. "This is the house where families meet to continue their lives, to eat and sleep, to find their strengths and dry their tears. Help them to look forward with hope to better years. This is the house that becomes their home. This is the home that LOVE built!" How true these words...Many heartfelt thanks to the Ronald McDonald House Charities, for their hospitality, this was indeed our HOME away from HOME. David's team of specialists determined that he could go back to South Dakota in February of 2007. Officially leaving the Minneapolis area was quite emotional to leave the comfort and security, but all indications were considered remarkable, David was on his way to an extraordinary recovery once again. His dreams consisted of going back to school, playing football, basketball, tinkering with his PlayStation 3, and being around his family and friends. One day becoming a National Football Player for the Philadelphia Eagles & attending the University of Oklahoma This is what we thought, but the disease had another agenda. David began complaining of his back hurting him soon after we got back to South Dakota. We became concerned, took David back to his doctors in Sioux Falls. Our doctors reassured us that David's pain was muscular in nature and we were sent home. The pain never did leave him and by the end of April, we began the struggles all over again. A third relapse??!! "This can't be happening" went through my mind over and over again; even as we were being airlifted back to Minneapolis on May1 will be our last. Our loving son, brother, nephew, grandson, friend fought his greatest battle and lost on August 21, 2007. Special loving thanks again for all the encouraging and kind things we may receive on behalf of David. David's Family truly sends their blessings throughout KELOLAND Family We will use the generous words or help to continue to spread David's Legacy for all those who choose to believe. We are forever grateful to those for giving us the opportunity to be able to celebrate life, faith, hope, love and most of all God with David's Family & Friends on his special day. Special Loving Thanks for listening and supporting our family and helping us reach others to find true meaning of Family, Love and Having Faith through anything in this life. A huge thank you to everyone who prayed for us today. We went in for an ultrasound to determine the source of the bleeding and discovered everything is okay and our little one is doing great. Thank you everyone who prayed for me. I received my "good report" today. The area that was biopsied came back benign! Thank you Jesus! In fact, when I went in for the biopsy they could not find the area in question on the mammogram... after one hour of looking they were about to send me home. However, they then found a couple of areas the size of the tip of a needle. They went ahead and completed the biopsy on these areas... which again turned out to be benign! Praise God and thank you for your prayers! Let us always trust in the Lord for He is able!

I, Rick, want to thank everyone who has prayed for our marriage since I posted the need. We are in need of healing. I am realizing that I have not listened to my spouse for alot of years. I also have not listened to our marriage counselor for about 2 years. My head has been stuck in sand trying to get my own way. I have not loved, cherished, or honored my wife for years. We currently are in a separation and this is the second separation in one year. Our son is 18 and our daughter 14. Please pray that I will listen to God, listen to my voussoirs and listen to my wife when we are togetheron our scheduled family activities.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who prayed for me today. After miscarrying my first pregnancy a few months ago, I had excellent results from a blood test today showing I'm about 5 weeks into a new pregnancy. This is extremely encouraging! My hubby and I are relieved and a little nervous with new-parent jitters, but overall very, very happy. We have an early ultrasound in a few weeks to look for a beating heart. We're waiting to find that heart beat before we make any announcements, so for now we're continuing to wait, hope, and pray. Thank you! Your prayers mean more to me than I can express.

I asked for prayers a few days ago for my Mom and her hip surgery. Great news. The pain that was there for a year and a half is gone. The surgery was 6 hours long but well worth it. She knows she has a long road ahead of her but her family pulled together with the strength of the Lord. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PRAYERS!!!! I've never asked for prayers or done a prayer request. My mother (almost 80), was hospitalized on Tuesday because she wasn't feeling right. As it turned out, she had a mild stroke. God is good, she has no side effects from the stroke. She has been released from the hospital & the doctors are starting her on medication. Thank-you for your prayers.

When I hit the submit key on my prayer request, I was filled with an immediate calming feeling. Just expressing my hurt and frustration and asking God to grant me patience, peace and happiness was exactly what I needed to let go and let God. I then began to read other prayer requests and found that things could be so much worse in my life. I began to feel healing in the simple act of praying for others. I am thankful and praise God for all of my blessings. Thank you Life 96.5 for Prayer Works! It really works!!

Thanks to all the people who prayed for my husband last week. It was overwhelming to see prayer confirmations coming in each day. The first results of his MRI were not positive. After another reading the radiologist suggested that things were not looking so bad after all. We will scan again in two months and in the meantime we will give the glory to God! He is able to do far more than we know!

Our 20-yr old niece has been married for a year this Saturday to a guy she had only known a few months. Last week she told me she was divorcing him. I asked you all and a few close friends to pray. Yesterday we saw them at a family Easter meal and they are planning to stay together and work things out. What a wonderful answer to prayer. It won't be an easy road, and they still both need to dedicate their lives to the Lord, but we are so thrilled. Thanx again! The Lord is so good, and when we team together to pray it is so powerful.
