I am 37 years old and I have battled depression and anxiety for 20 years. It has not kept me from leading a productive and active life but it can be a bit of a roller coaster at times, I know that God has seen me through many ups and downs. I believe that every difficulty has a purpose. I view and manage my condition much like anyone else with a chronic illness like diabetes. Recently I was diagnosed with an auto-immune disorder. I have struggled with my job and had some significant changes over the last year. I recently lost my last grandparent and am struggling in my current relationship. I have many things to be grateful for but am just struggling right now to see past my discomfort. I just want to ask for a small word of prayer...for healing and peace. Thank you.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary last week. I did not expect anything, given our recent problems, but he surprised me with a little treat and the movie we saw on our first date 13 years ago. He has started therapy and taking natural remedies for anxiety and depression. A friend of mine is my accountability partner for The Love Dare, and I am really enjoying it! I have learned a lot. He has taken a new attitude towards our marriage and even brought up renewing our vows. He has separated his emotional problems from our relationship, so he is no longer on the fence. I feel more unified and just blessed. Yesterday we were discussing finances, and he said that he wanted to be a better example for our children in every aspect. My religious confusion is about the same. I recently began reading The Case for Christ, and I am attending a gathering Sunday for an inter-religious group of women. It's a step.

My husband passed a kidney stone two Sundays ago at the ER. On the next Wednesday he had testicle swelling and went to the doctor. They diagnosed him with MRSA and gave him some antibiotics. We ended up going back to the ER because of the pain and swelling. We have been in the hospital for 4 nights now and they think it might be in his blood. We have two young children that don't really understand that daddy is sick. Please Pray for his recovery and a safe return home.

Our son and daughter were both raised in a Christian home. They accepted the Lord as their Savior when they were 5 and 6 yeasrs old. Satan is deceiving them along with many other young people, into thinking that sex outside marriage is okay. They are young adults and we can't tell them what to do. We are both heartbroken about the choices they are making. Please pray that they will turn back to God and their partners that they live with will be saved. Pray for the young people of our nation. They desparately need God! Pray that God will send a real Christian to minister to my children. Pray a God Sized prayer!

Thanks so much for your prayers! God is awesome. I now have a different supervisor who is so nice, positive and encouraging. I work in a much better atmosphere now. There are still a lot of changes going on at work and they just let one of the top people go a week ago. People are afraid they will lose their jobs. It seems that in a supposedly Christian workplace, there are not many upper level managers who live by - they will know we are Christians by the love we show one another. Please pray for the manager who was let go and our whole workplace to be protected and blessed. God bless you!

Thank you so much for the prayers. After 2.5 years of going thought the turmoil, and having a foreclosure lingering over our heads. We have been informed by our attorney that they have given us a trial modification! He said it would take a miracle, but we have God and all your amazing prayers with us. We ask that you keep us in your prayers as we have one income now and are asking The Lord to guide us, on if I may need to obtain a job, I need that guidance. I do work part time, but at the kids school to maintain them in an amazing school. But we are discussing maybe having to pull the kids from their current school and maybe sending them to a public school, which I oppose greatly (we live in Florida). But I am suggesting homeschooling as an option. As to an additional income, there is arise, ebay and saving money on purchases. Thank you so much for your prayers! We are so blessed to maintain our first ever home and keep our kids in the home and neighborhood they know and love. Amen to Jesus and his amazing Grace. Caleb is successfully off the ECMO machine! There was a little concern yesterday afternoon. He had a fever of 104 and his carbon dioxide in his body was up. These were not good signs. But, after much prayer and time, the numbers came down on both. Brian was informed that this sometimes happens when a patient is taken off the ECMO machine. The machine was putting oxygen in his blood and warming it. So, when they took him off they were able to see really how his body is responding. They did have to give him a little more sedation medication last night to settle him down. This morning Caleb is doing well. His carbon dioxide level is normal and his temperature is around 100, which they are giving him antibiotics to lower.They have removed the chest tubes. He is only on the ventilator which is routed through his trachea, feeding tube and IV. Praise the Lord! He has made remarkable progress! Today they will be putting him in a neuro chair. This will allow them to exercise him and get him out of the bed. They will slowly take him off the sedatives. They will put pain medicine in his feeding tube so that it will go directly in his stomach instead of his whole body. It will take a few days for all the sedation medicine to leave his system. The doctor was very encouraged that Caleb is strong and fit. Also, he is young and a young brain has capabilities of rehabilitating better than an older brain. "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. " Isaiah 43:2 We pray for Caleb... Father we thank you and praise you for your protection of Caleb. We thank you that he continues to improve. We thank you Caleb was successfully taken off the ECMO machine and answering our prayers that his temperature and carbon dioxide levels decrease. Lord, we lift Caleb up to You and ask that You put a hedge of protection around him. Protect Caleb's spirit, body, mind and emotions from any kind of evil or harm. Amen

He also smiled twice at The Brock's as they shared God's word with him! We are all rejoicing and praising God for Caleb's progress. Brian will receive the next briefing on Caleb's progress in the morning. The head of the trauma unit, Dr. Miller, meets with his team every morning and they discuss progress and treatment for the day. He then shares information with Brian. We know he will be so amazed by Caleb! "And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up." James 5:15 We pray for Caleb... Lord, we praise you tonight for Caleb's progress! We are so thankful for Caleb's precious eyes opening tonight and for his smile as he heard your word. Caleb's Update.... When Brian walked in this morning to get the morning report, the doctor said he had great news. Caleb had began coughing, turning a little red, and responding to light in his eyes. All are signs of brain activity. The doctors no longer find it necessary to test to see if blood is going to his brain. His lungs are continuously getting stronger and are currently breathing on their own. His body is also responding well to the feeding tube. Caleb is still on the ventillator and ECMO machine. They will try in the next few days to take him off the ECMO machine. They will be doing another procedure on his lungs today. They will be cleaning them and looking at them with a camera. This will allow them to check for infection. The family is very encouraged with Caleb's progress. They are very thankful and humbled by the support and prayers. Please continue to pray specifically that Caleb will not get any type of infection and continues to increase his brain activity. Please continue to pray :)

Me and my fianc are doing more then well. He is working at a job that is 15 minutes from where we live. He loves it. It has awesome benefits and is just all around great. God has blessed us once again. I am baby sitting on the side. We are on the track to marriage. We were looking for houses and on occasion still do. We are not ready to buy one though. We live in the same neighborhood and spend our days in my condo but he sleeps in his condo. So thank you for all your prayers. We love you for it. Keep it up!

I recently asked for prayer about my first semester in grad school. Anxiety has long been a struggle for me, and I did not know if I could make it through finals. People prayed just when I needed it, and it was so encouraging to know that people took time to pray on my behalf. I completed all my classes with good grades, which is great. More importantly, I am reminded that God can give me peace when I am stressed.

recently i have been going through many thing's i have lost three people close to me in the last two month's one of them had been a 18 year old anyway she text my daughter one sunday and had told my daughter she didn't want to live anymore my daughter ten let me know i tried talking to her telling her how much we loved her a how much god loved her but all she could tell me was that we were the only family she had and that nobody else cared about her not even her own mom and dad she was like a daughter too me we were very close i told her i loved her and she responded back that she loved me we then had quit talking for the night and i prayed asking god too please jsut save her and put his arms around her and show her she was loved well the next day we found out she had died train v's automobile all i can say i am devestated beyond beliefe and struggling cause i can't understand why god didn't answer my prayer my heart has been forever broken and now i am having a hard time to know if i can trust god when i keep praying like he want's me too i am so lost.also my car need 500.00 in work that need's to be done and being a single parent that's hard to come by so just praying i can get it fixed to be able get my daughter around who has special need's thank ya'll so much for any prayers i can recieve to help me understand how to trust god more in this whole situation.

She got all the tubes taken out today! She put her right hand up to her face and started crying and realized everything that was going on. She is becoming active in the sense of moving her left arm-now the goal is to move her left leg. They are looking at the possibility of rehab-that may be out of kansas and away from her family. Pray that they are able to find a therapist here in Wichita who can bring her back to the bubbly, always smiling girl she is!!

Thank you all so much for your prayers about my meeting on Monday with my supervisor. He had actually already made up his mind that I was going to do what he said. Later that day I actually found out that he outright lied to me that morning during our discussion. Please pray for protection for me and that I will have peace and wisdom in this situation. Pray for this man who is my supervisor, that God will change the way he views himself and others. He is very arrogant and does not listen. I need my job, but I can't take the stress because I have health issues. God bless all who are praying. Pray for my husband's business to be blessed also. He has been under a lot of stress also. I just realized that it has been a year since I posted my prayer request on here. My daughter, at the time was a month old and in the NICU having been born at 24 weeks. Today she is 13 months old and very health, albeit a bit small. I have no doubt that she is as healthy as she is because of prayer. Thank you to all those who prayed for her after seeing her on the WAY FM Prayer Works board.

I can see how God is changing my views. I am thankful that I will someday have no fear and no anxiety. I need God to remove the OCD, fear and anxiety. February 16, 2012 I have OCD. 3 years ago I left Nashville, because I no longer had control of my life. I moved closer to my family. It's a long story and maybe someday I'll share (if anyone's interested), but basically I have an extreme fear of fire and death. I am a Christian and I grew up in the church. I have a wonderful loving Christian family and friends. At one point my OCD was 100% at my worst. After getting medical treatment in Nashville and my new location, my obsessions and compulsions went down to around 20%. I have had a lot of saddness over the last 15 months. Grandparents, uncles, ill then passing away. I am happy they are with Jesus. I am sad because I miss them so much. I'm not as fearful of death as I used to be. But for some reason, the "scary" thoughts are constanlty popping up in my mind again. The need to calm the anxiety has me doing compulsions again. So I avoid going out, eating, doing anything that could cause more anxiety. PLEASE PLEASE PRAY that God will remove these thoughts, doubts, and fears from my mind. ASAP I'm trying to do my part by praying, reading scriptures, listening to uplifting sermons. I'm so scared. I read scriptures but it seems as though the" light bulb doesn't come on

I submitted a prayer request about visiting my doctor about an ache on my left side. The doctor was not worried at all about it. Felt all around and didn't notice anything. As of this morning we have completed the modification for our home and the foreclosure process will be stopped. The payment is $200 cheaper than our orgininal payment. Thank you for the prayers.

I had asked for prayer for my husband. He was told he would lose his job at the end of March 2012. He told me today that the decision to end his job has been delayed another month and the way things look it could be even longer. This was "music to my ears". my 40 yr old wife, mother of our 2 daughters, had aspirated pneumonia , had been in hospital for 6 wks. most of that time in ICU, was on ventilator for 12 days, well she is out of the hospital, but not home, having survived, Thank you Lord Jesus, she is in such a weaken state, she is in a rehab center. having to go thru physical therapy 7 days a week. she is slowly getting her strength back, but has to learn how to walk again, which she will, it is all in God's hands and his time!! we are praying for her to be home for Christmas !! also please pray for financial mercies for us as i have found out my leave from work is unpaid, have money coming from some ins. policies i surrendered but that is 3 wks. away and our bank doesn't want to loan me anything but they want their money,lol but the Good Lord will provide, so thankful for everyone's prayers!! God is Good !! All the Time !!

I'm so grateful for your prayers. I've gotten news that my CT scan was normal and no brain tumor. I'm still praying for my husband's salvation and that he finds a job. I'm grateful that I'm a child of THE risen Savior and His arms are large enough for all! Praise the Lord in all corners of the world! I don't know what the next step is for the doctors to find out what is actually wrong with me but I know the Lord holds me in His hands.

Update on divorce in works My sister's ex-husband got remarried one month after the divorce was final. They had been separated since April and the divorce was final in August and he remarried in September. We know through this very difficult time God has been right beside her helping her through this. We are not sure what will be next in her life, but are faithful to what God has planned and can not wait for her to be happy again. This marriage of 23 years ended with adultry because of worldly sin and not letting God help him out of it. We have choices. I want to thank everyone for your prayers and keep lifting my sister up because something big is going to happen and it will be good because God is with her.

I recently submitted a prayer request for many things but particularly for the salvation of my youngest daughter and my son. Great news...just a few days after submitting the request my daughter received Christ at church. Not only her, but two of her friends also went up with her and also received Christ. Ive been married to a man who verbally abuses me and my/our children for 10 yrs now. He hasnt physicaly abused me in 5 yrs because I had him arrested for domestic violence.My heart is in so much pain. I cannot take it any longer. My kids love their Daddy & I dont want to hurt them. I know what it feels like to have a broken home. Please pray that my husband finds Jesus or just leaves us because I cannot keep hurting this way. I try to follow Jesus but feel like Im married to the Devil. I know divorce is wrong I just want to do the right thing.

The devil always seems to have a tireless reserve of demons to stir it up around Believers. Ricky will be coming home next week to his wife and daughter and soon to be born little boy. Thank you for your prayers, he will be going to medical doctors when he gets home to get a clear diagnosis on his health condition. He may need surgery, but pray the Lord will remove the voices in his head and give him relief from his migraines. I'm pleased to say that my Dad is doing much better now after a very rocky road of battling lung cancer. Even though the condition of his cancer may not improve, he is expected to come home from the hospital within the next few days. Thank you SO much for all of your prayers! I was just informed this afternoon about being accepted for a job. I start on April 18th. Praise God!
