Recently I posted a prayer request because I received a very low grade on a paper, therfore I was going to fail the class and I could not graduate. I was very depressed and worried about the money I needed to repeat the class as well as the burden that would put into my family. I received emails everyday telling me that many of you were praying for me, it was very encouraging to know this. It made me happy and it filled me with peace and joy. I stoped being depressed after the second day, my heart was filled with such peace. I appealed the grade, my professors reconsidered it and gave me the points I needed in order to pass the class and graduate! I graduated on may 11th thanks to all your prayers and the merciful GOD that listened. I am so thankful for all of you, for all the prayers I received. Prayers are the most powerful thing we can do for someone, GOD listens when we pray and He responded to all of you. Thank you so much for taking the time to pray for me. God bless you always!

Last month, it was my birthday, the anniversary of my late husband's death, and a time when I experienced another loss in my family. I was in total depression also because the gentleman I had been seeing for nearly a year decided to cut ties with me. All this happened at the same time, and my heart was broken. Then I found Ekaka email: ekakaspelltemple@yahoo.com and all my luck turned around -- especially because the master did a wonderful spell of Love for me and my dearest companion, who decided he had made a terrible mistake by leaving me. We even took a much-needed vacation. It meant the world to me, and I have you to thank for it. I send you Prayers.

On May 3rd I submitted a prayer request titled 'Illness'. Frustrated and full of emotions from weeks of sickness my request became more of an open letter to God. 'Lord the Bible says this', 'Lord the Bible says that', 'Lord I 'want' to seek you and you allow these attacks!!??'. Now a quick aside from that- as I was losing weight and continually vomiting I started eating a very limited amount of food. Peanut bars for calories, Powerade for electrolytes, beef jerky for protein- those types of things. That same day that I, it totally frustration, submitted that prayer request I was prompted to look at the ingredients of what I had been eating. MSG, and High Fructose Corn Syrup were in 90% of the 'stuff' I was consuming the past weeks. A quick search of the two ingredients show that they are 'Excitotoxins', and many of my symptoms matched that of someone who is having a reaction. Part of me is hesitant to put my stock in believing that little things like MSG were the cause of all of this. BUT having not vomitted since I stopped eating them and feeling increasingly better and more calm I will TRUST that my prayer, and the words of those who prayed for me on this great resource, HAS BEEN ANSWERED ! Praise the Lord.

I've been sick and unable to work for 1 1/2 years. I have vestibular migraines which basically means I am dizzy a great deal. Without my income money has been very tight. I applied for disability but didn't think I'd get it. God provided me with disability and back pay to help cover my bills. I also asked for prayers because I had to have a biopsy. My mammogram showed problems in my right breast. I just got the results today - I don't have cancer! Thank you Jesus and thak you for the prayers

Please help me pray for a situation which continues to make me angry, break my heart, and has my stress level up much higher than what it should be. Someone who I care about may be very ill. I don't know all of the details, but for extremely self-centered reasons, the feelings of others are being discarded. This man has people around him who are helping him lie on a continual basis about what has happened, and elaborate measures have been taken to keep this deceipt ongoing. There are a lot of other people who care about him who because of what these people are doing, a lot of people (many of them very young) who care about this man stand to have their hearts shattered because of lies, lies, lies...and the people who are doing the lying don't really seem to care about anybody but themselves. This has me so angry! I Please, I beg those who are reading this to please ask God to make the lying will stop! Please pray the lying will stop now! Please also ask Him to open the hearts of the people around this man, and he himself toward these people who care about him, that they will understand the severity of what they are doing, and why it is wrong. Thank you, so much!

Hi , last month I asked a simple prayer for my husband and I to get caught up with our bills . Well last week I got this strange envelope in the mail with no return address . It was from the credit card company , we only have one and it was to help with finances to take care of our cat who had died. While I was thankful for the card then I just wasn't able to pay the bill off and honestly was not making many payments. Recently I had decided to get on top of the bills and try to figure some way to pay each bill, that's when I got this card in the mail. It said that "Its time to make a fresh start!" They were going to forgive 70% of my bill which left me with only around four hundred dollars to pay,this I can handle. I called them up and will be making two payments to pay it off. God is awesome I so did not deserve this grace but I am more then thankful to receive it. Thank you for your prayers and keep us in prayer we still have other bills we have to pay .

Awhile back, I asked for prayers in helping my brother get through the loss of his job and all the stress that it can bring, as well as helping him to start his own business instead. I am thankful to report that God provided him with the chance to start his own. He purchased his truck, he's working on getting supplies together, he got the bank loan he needed, and he's very happy with where he's at. He also has some jobs lined up and I am very thankful for all the prayers received and to God for his unending love and encouragement!

I am so thankful to our friend who has listed my son Ryan on the Word FM prayer site! God bless all of you for your kind thoughts and God filled wishes. Ryan, as mentioned in the March 17th update, is still at the skilled nursing facility. Some days he makes bits of progress in therapy; other days nothing. He still does not communicate, though occasionally he can give a thumbs up in response to a question. He removed his own trach a few weeks back! He wanted it out, so out it came! We are praying and hoping for the next milestone. We hope one day soon he will be able to speak to us or perhaps even look toward us for more than a few seconds.Thank you all again for supporting Ryan and our family. You are all a wonderful and great gift to our family!

Ryan is making some progress and has had many setbacks. He has improved but is still in a nursing facility. His ex wife has some serious addiction issues and the children needed to be supervised if they were to remain in their home. He appears to be committed to staying in the area so he can be around them and is presently looking for a job in that area. A few days ago I asked for prayers for a dying baby girl Brynn. Her parents weren't looking for a miracle that would restore this baby, they just wanted to bring her home to finish out her days surrounded by their love. I am saddened to say that yesterday monday she was extubated and within the hour she passed. Please remember her and her parents.

A few weeks ago I posted a prayer request concerning my husband and stomach pain, he was going through many tests and there was a ton of uncertainty in our daily lives with the pain. The tests are complete, only a minor area of inflamation was found in his stomach and he has been treating daily with natural solutions to keep him pain free. I will add, that after we added him to this prayer list and we asked our church for prayer...his pain stopped...he has had a day here and there where he will be uncomfortable...but nothing compared to what he was dealing with. Thank you to all who prayed, you know who you are.

I am the person who wrote I AM A MESS message on the prayer request on Prayer works. While I think I will have struggles day to day , I think I got a particle answer that night. Hebrews10: 35-36 was given to me through a daily Bible verse. It gave me a peace I haven't felt in a while. I was amazed. I also got motivation to start to clean my house. Thank you to all who prayed with me to let my daughter have house arrest instead of jail time. She was facing jail because of driving while her license was suspended. The suspension was because of not having car insurance and vehicle not registered. Praise Jesus holy name. She did get house arrest, once that is completed she can try and fight to get a probational license to drive back and forth to work. Which would help me out greatly. Her license is suspended for the next two years. Thank you again so very much for all of your prayers. Keep praying prayer warriors that she gets her license back.

I asked for prayer for Ernie, a friend who has a big heart but has many problems, the biggest of which is that he need to take responsibility for his children. He texted me today to tell me that he is going to do what he needs to do and will have to go live with his ex wife and supervise the care of his two girls. He is hurting because doing what he needs to do, taking on the care of his children who's mother is troubled. The child protective custody people are involved and Ernie needs to step in and take over the care of these two sweet girls. He is struggling with pain in his heart because doing this is interfering with his desire to make a new life with his girlfriend. There are many complications and I won't go into all of them but i want to say thanks for the prayer because he was not willing to sacrifice his desires and wants until this morning when I got the message when I got that incredibly message from him. I know it was your prayers that helped. Thanks everyone!

I don't think I can explain my amazement at what God has done for me this week. I am a Pre-Med student and also play Rugby. Recently, I played in a game where I got a severe concussion and was having short term memory loss and was extremely confused. I had an Exam very shortly after that. My exam was for Human Physiology and I could not study because I became dizzy and confused, but I decided to take the Exam anyway. While taking it the next day I thought I made a huge mistake. I knew next to nothing and all I could do was pray God would help me. Today I found out I got a 102%. This was totally God and I cannot explain the pressure that has been lifted knowing that God is always there for me and can perform what I thought would be impossible. I was reminded never to limit God, he has no limits in where he can take me! Please pray I continue to rely on him and that he can continue to heal my body!

Awhile back I was in agonizing pain over my daughter who was once a promising young woman, a talented writer and musician who fell into severe addiction. i did not know where she was or even if she was alive. The situation continued for some time but in December she surfaced and had been living in a tent. She wanted help in getting to a Mission Teens program in California. Mission Teens is a bible based program that really works. My daughter did not want the spiritual aspect of it, but she went because she had no where else to go. She has been there 2 months and is doing better and better each day. I spoke with her on the phone tonight and she said she is playing the guitar again and singing and feels better that she has in all her life. She is also finding God!!! She talked about how she understands now that religion is not God, and a relationship with God is what he wants. They read the Bible for hours every day and immerse themselves in the Word. I thank anyone who prayed. She has a long way to go but this is the first hope I've really had for her in years. God love you all!

Thank you for all who prayed. It's only been 23 hours since i posted the request and I ask that you all continue to pray. I know I'm still deep in the forest of need on this. I just wanted to let you all know that while we went to bed last night a horrible wreck this evening has been the polar opposite. My oldest is still a little testy, what teenage girl isn't though right? But she has been a lot more calm and a lot easier to be around. I just hope we continue on this path.

We have begun settling in to our new lives and I have begun work in casualty at the hospital. The work is challenging but God is doing amazing things at this hospital. About a year ago I asked for prayer for our daughter and family who had just experienced an eptopic preganancy/loss of child. A little over a week ago, she gave birth to our first grandaughter who joins her big brother, our only grandson. We won't be seeing their brother or sister until heaven, but we sure love these two!!! I'm thankful for all your prayers. i said i'd keep you posted. i found a lawyer who takes payments and who's rates are reasonable. (thank God for favor!). Although it is difficult, i am making timely payments and God is holding things together. We are sure he is coming home what we need the lawyer for is to determine how soon. things keep being postponed, held back, delayed, turn up missing...we need God to intervene. My son still needs to profess Christ. He has been singing songs from his childhood and yeilding to my "god talks" its almost like he needs them. His spirit is getting stronger. I just know it. Yesterday evening Mason was sitting up in his hospital bed playing with play dough. His vitals are beginning to stabilize and his doctors are preparing him for his surgery to remove the large mass on his lung. I have previously posted twice on my husband who left one year ago. Wow, the last year our family has been through a hell I was not aware existed. Through much counseling, visits to other professionals and speaking with families dealing with mental illness I was able to understand my husband has paranoid schizophrenia. Our legal system does not adequately deal with people struggling with mental illness and the challenges their families face. This week coming up I will be getting another 302 for him. This is an arrest where they will take him to the hospital. We have done this before and they released him with no treatment. This is not uncommon. While many factors and symptoms are dismissed in the little evaluation presentation is strongly used. Anyone who has a mentally ill family members know, somedays they present well others not. I will also be filing an emergency custody change. Please pray for our family that we will be successful in getting my husband help and treatment. We need victory here. I am exhausted.

Last week I put my 9 year old grandaughter Jessica Crown on for prayers for major brain surgery and possible spinal surgery. I was boldly praying for a miracle and asked for prayers and for everyone to stand boldly with me in my pray request. The Lord is Awesome!! Her 3-5 hour surgery was only about 1 hour. The issue with the brain was scar tissue from her prior surgery but the prior surgery is still a success. The doctor removed the scar tissue and inserted a catheter so it won't happen again. She may get an infection or her body may reject it but I am Believing and standing on Faith that the Lord didn't answer our prayers as greatly as He did to not stand by her still and continue to heal her after surgery. The spinal surgery has been put off to see if the scar tissue may have been affecting that due to the spinal fluid not flowing. She has done so well that they even sent her home 48 hours after surgery. Praise the Lord!! We serve an awesome God. And my daughter who is slowly coming to Christ also is aware of Jesus's work in her daughter. She has seen our Lord in action and knows He is the reason she had this miracle I was praying for. Thank you so much for all your prayers and support. They even said she may be able to go back to school in 2-3 weeks instead of 6.

I posted last week about some pain my husband has been dealing with for months. It has been hard for him to handle much of this pain and we have already had two trips to the ER, both times the dr.'s said his heart is fine....and that was it, pain is still here. We saw a Gastro type dr in December and he has an Upper GI scheduled for February...a long time away to be dealing with this pain. After visiting a new Family Doctor two weeks ago, he was set up with a stress test, blood work and a chest x ray, the stress test and blood work are AOK! and believe it or not, this past week...the pain has been minimal....we still have the Upper GI to get through next month but prayers are answered for pain....he really hasn't had much at all....thank you for the continued prayers.

My husband has been out of work for just about the last 5 years. God has been faithful with His provision this entire time. Today my husband was offered a very good job. Our God is an awesome God. It was hard at times but we always had what we needed for each day, provision and His perfect peace. Anyone going through the same thing keep hanging on never stop praying and never stop tithing. Your Request: this is my past request: Back in January is had a bad report from my OBGYN. It showed I had abnormal cells that were precancerous. I went through one procedure to get rid of this attached virus. It did not work. Then I decided to have a hysterectomy about four months ago to prevent cervical cancer, after I went for a follow -up;The precancerous cells were still trying to attach to me. About a month ago I had another procedure to scrap the lining of my walls. I go next Wed for a follow up, please help me pray for a good report and forever have the virus go dormant. I am single and want to be truly loved one day for something that someone did to me and do not want this to take finding love or my life away from me. I'm a good person and want to be the best mom to my children and hope to be the best person for someone special. I want to do right in my life and to do right for others. Thank you for any extra love and support and I pray that all needing prayers and love truly heal know matter what the need may be Update: I had the surgery in the summer, I go back next week for a check up and to test to see if this virus has went into hibernation... Never to surface hopefully again, please I beg for this to be true and not for the worry to rush over me all the days of my life. I have a man and his daughter in my life that I have asked for prayers with also. I adore them and want a beautiful loving, committed life with them and to soon intertwine our life into one with our children. I want a family life with them ... I recently posted that we would have difficulty filming for our VBS curriculum due to my family being sick. We did not film on Saturday or Sunday. Despite prayers, it seemed like everyone was getting worse and I had to take my husband and my daughter to the ER in that time. I kept praying, and obviously others did as well. On Monday, despite the weather being freezing and other complications, everyone was well enough for us to get 5 hours of filming in! I am so thankful and it was really productive and an awesome time to reconnect with God as I thought that every minute of filming only happened because God was good to answer prayers. Thank you all so much! I still have a lot to get done to get the VBS ready and a lot to get done to get our Medieval VBS curriculum ready, so I will continue to pray for strength while thanking God for the blessing of getting to serve Him! That is the greatest blessing of all!

I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of God's love through the prayers of those who prayed for a home f0r myself and my cats. I am a widow of almost 2 yrs. I could no longer afford to rent a house from my brother. I searched all apt. complexes and they were all too expensive. I found an apt. in the country that is not only affordable, but it includes the heat and electric and most of all, I can take my beloved cats with me at no extra cost!!!! Hello! On Nov. 26th, I put in a prayer request for one of our ladies in our group home who was in the hospital for about a week or so and the doctors weren't sure what was going on with her (I honestly didn't think she would be returning home--that's how sick she was). My heart was heavy for her but on Nov. 27th, a diagnosis was made and on Nov. 30th, she returned home! She remains ill and is still trying to recover but she is home where she can be taken care of by those who know and love her and she can be with her housemates. Please continue to pray for her complete recovery (God knows best her needs) and that staff will continue to provide quality care for her. I am thankful for all prayers offered for her and that our God is a loving God Who is happy to take care of all of us... Thanks again everyone!

I wrote in many months ago when my husband first left. It was the shock of my life. I thought I was going to die from the pain and agony. Mind you, my husband and I had a great relationship. We have five children. The youngest is two and his birth was followed by unemployment which was enormously stressful on all of us. Everything seemed to be going well. We were digging out. Just one week before he was to get his first pay at the new job and a huge income tax return. He simply walked out and never came home. This was followed by some really bizarre behavior. We were floored and victimized. The odd thing was, no one would believe us. I fought and fought. I knocked on doors and asked for help and answers. My husband has paranoid schizophrenia. It 's onset is brought on by the birth of our child and the unemployment. There are two types of delusions I have found. Bizarre and non bizarre. His are non bizarre making this battle a whole lot harder and scary. He feels persecuted and every word I say goes through a filter in his brain that turns my words into persecution. For example: me: I have dropped the child support case. Him: Well if you think I am going to do whatever you want because you dropped that case forget it! I have secured an evaluation for him court ordered. I almost ended up in jail myself getting it. Yes, you can go to jail for doing the right thing. Our society has a long way to go in understanding and helping the mentally ill. It does not help that every time I mention mental illness I have to explain why it is I am saying that because it is considered an insult to suggest mental illness. Please continue to pray for me. Somedays I feel like I can't go on. I myself have ended up at the psychiatrist because of the police involvement, children and all the other stresses that come with schizophrenia. Thank you. I asked for prayer for a place for myself and my 2 cats to live. The Lord is faithful - my friend whom I was going to move in with, but was not able to bring my cats because she has 2 cats and 2 dogs just told me that her estranged husband is going to take their 2 cats and so I can bring mine with me. This may seem like a small thing to some, but to me it was a loving answer from the God who loves us and "is concerned about that which concerns us". My faith has increased and I am full of joy because of what our Lord Jesus has done. Thank you all for your prayers and notes.

I want to thank everyone who prayed for my neice when I sent a prayer request in Sept. At this time she is home recovering and although she is not in remission she is no longer being pushed to go into hospice. She is eating and responding and my family is grateful. We keep praying because she is still healing. Praising God each day that her healing will continue and she will go into remission. God Bless you all.

I wrote a few weeks ago and asked for prayer for Jay, a former first responder, who was diagnosed with cancer. The cancer was in his mouth. He underwent extensive surgery the week before Thanksgiving to remove the tumor. 51 lymph nodes were also removed at that time for diagnostic purposes. Yesterday he went for post-op and was informed ALL 51 nodes are cancer free. Praise be to God and bless all the prayer warriors!!!! Our God is an awesome God.

About four months ago I asked for prayer in relationships and I just wanted to say I am now two months into my relationship with my best friend and a wonderful man of God that I have been praying for for almost a year but thought he could never want me! We have been so blessed by God and want to honor him in everything. Please continue to pray that we do glorify God in everything think, say, and do! I posted back on Nov 9 that I was experiencing very bad back pain and I just wanted to post an update. On Nov 13 I was able to get an appt with the Dr. at Penn Medicine who did my back surgery two years ago. He of course needed an MRI to see what was going on and I was actually able to get one the same day while I was down at the hospital. On Friday I found out that not only had I herniated a disc (again) but it broke off so there is no chance of it going back in place. Ultimately I need surgery but I'm going with plan B which is prayer and trying to figure out what kind of therapy I can try to relieve myself of this pain. So the pain continues but I am hopeful in time this is going to pass and that I am not going to have to have surgery. Thank you for praying.

Just overwhelmed .. We made a big move across the country.. , from PA to CA.. I feel so lost right now, single mom two kids who need a Godly Man in their lives, as they have no clue to what a GOOD MAN is.. I have a son and daughter.. my son was in the hosp the last time he saw his dad and that was 6 years ago,( dad came in high to see him on his Bday ) never saw him again and yes he knew his dad was on drugs and told him to never come back.. than 30days latter my daughter saw him on her Bday, but dad was in Jail and said unless we gave him money to never come back and that was the last time she saw him... Please pray for Peace in our lives.. and well you know I just feel so lost as if I am a big looser

I am so lucky to work at a church and feel blessed everyday to be around other christians. I truly felt the power of prayer last week when about 20 people from work prayed with me for my sister who was going into labor at 34 weeks pregnant and was diagnosed with HELLP Syndrome. The pastors and admin in the church prayed over me and for my sister and her unborn child for about 5 min. straight. I felt relief flood over me and a I felt a sense of calmness surround me. Less than 5 minutes later I received the phone call that my niece was born only a few minutes earlier, while we were praying!!!! Even though she was a premie she was breathing on her own and was perfectly fine!!!! My sister recovered after many days with the help of God and the prayers of so many! God heard our prayers that day and I am so thankful and grateful! Prayer Works!!!!!

A day later, he told us he was using a dietary supplement that he was taking from our room. We actually had gotten it as a natural ADHD medicine alternative. We are giving him one a day. At this point we don't know of any other drug usage. Thanks to many of you for praying. Prayer Works!

Thank you to all the prayer warriors out there! I finally listened to God and placed a request for others to pray for me and my daughter with Lyme disease. With your prayers, and God's grace, we have been healed! God had told me for years not to try to fight this disease on my own, but I refused to ask for anyone's help and suffered for all that time. Only when it started to affect my daughter, too, did I finally listen to what God was telling me to do and depend on others. It probably seems very simple to many of you, but I just didn't want to do it. I had always been very independent and didn't see the value of asking for help. It had just been me and God for years, and I felt that was good enough. God has certainly taught me the strength of prayer circles. Please, if God is telling you to do something, do it! Thank you God for your healing power and thank you everyone for praying for us!

Sept 24 marks the three year anniversary of the death of my brother-in-law. He was killed in a car accident. My husband and I often wondered if he ever accepted Christ as his savior. That night I prayed that God would send us a sign to let us know one way or the other. I woke the next morning and shared my prayer with my husband. We went to clean out his belongings from the car that day. (The car was purchased a week and a half prior to the accident, it was owned by an elderly woman.) We removed all his things and were going to leave when my husband flipped the visor down and something fell out. When we picked it up we both knew it was our answer, a very old faded air freshner. It was what was on the air freshner that gave us the answer, Jesus holding a little lamb in his arms with his flock of sheep behind him! Yes, my brother-in-law did know Jesus. The following Sunday in a sermon we were also given the verse, Isaiah 40:11- Jesus tends his flock like a shepard He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart He gently leads those that have young. Most definately, GOD DOES ANWERS PRAYERS!

Thank you everyone for the prayers. The relay team finished their 1,000 mile journey today at Penn State in a world record time of 95 hours, 3 minutes and 1 second. It was very uplifting and emotional, especially for the Dare family who lost their son 10 years ago while pole vaulting at a track meet in Minnesota. update. my son was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole at age sixteen. recently this sentence was ruled unconstitutional. now the court has to decide if this ruling will be backdated and what the new sentencing will be...please keep us in prayer. we are believing that the 10 years he has served will be enough to get him home and on parole for about 10-15v more years. he had denounced christ and everything. he is now praying and praising again. he is also making a positive difference in the lives of the youth in the prison. please pray for him to completely rededicate to God, through christ and for God to give him favor and blessing. Our lawyer got us a new appeal...and his father is beginning to inquire more and more about how he can help. keep praying saints!!!! God is moving by his spirit. Hallelujah to the Lamb of God.

I received many prayers and feedback to two of my post. One was a result I was concerned about at my OBGYN and the other of the distance with the man I love. If feel with your prayers and the faith I've been holding onto- has carried me through my worries. Things are slowly coming back with him. I love him deeply and want a life with him and pray that he see what i see in us. I went for my check up today and the doctor feels things are very promising, but won't know for sure until a couple weeks. Please keep praying for both wants/needs in my life.. I feel your power. Praise God! Thank you everyone who has prayed for my daughter and grandson!!!!! My daughter, Meagen is in California and I am in PA so this whole thing has been heartbreaking. Meagen had a very bad case of pre-eclampsia. However, God is good!!!! Meagen had to be induced, her due date was September 27, but her blood pressure and protein in her urine was way to high to continue the pregnancy. Sooooo, today, 08/21/12 at 6:11 Cal. time and 9:11 PA time, Meagen gave birth to my grandson, Nathan. Nathan is three pounds and beautiful! He needs some medical attention, so if everyone could keep praying for him, and a fast safe recovery! Meagen's blood pressure has come down a lot, still elevated, but coming back to where it should be. So if you all wouldn't mind keeping her in prayer for a complete fast recovery - Thank you so much! God willing she, Nathan, and her husband Brad will be able to come home or we can go to them soon! Anyway, thank you one and all who have been praying it is a blessing and greatly appreciated!!!

Hi everyone. Thank you all for your prayers in the past for my friend Laura who was battling cancer. She is back to work and even though she lost some hair you would not even notice as she had a thick head of hair to begin with. She will not know until the end of this month if she is cancer free. So please continue to keep her in your prayers. As for my knee replacement and swelling, all is the same, with no improvement. But, this is all in God's hands and in his timing. It is not for me to question why I am going through this, but I know God has a purpose for it all. Every day I am grateful for all the blessing he give me, my family and friends! Praise God and thanks to those who prayed for me! I asked for prayers to help me learn to live with ADD and especially to get it together to resolve a lawsuit and file (very) overdue taxes. Last week, the lawsuit was settled:90% in our favor!! The taxes: well, we finally got enough $$ together to buy both the powerful laptop and the business spreadsheet program we need. Just tonight I am going to pick it up! What a relief know I will soon be 'rendering unto Caesar what is Caesar's'. Learning to live with ADD is an ongoing process--so is living w/2 teenage sons and my husband ;-) But 'praying without ceasing' makes it so much easier! Thanks again, and God bless.

I have had hardly any breathing troubles in my sleep, my stress is almost gone, and just feel it lowering daily. Thank you all for your prayers...........it seems my furry boy is a master at the art of hiding. Both the contractor who is doing work on my home and I had searched high and low for him, seemingly to no avail. I mentioned that Colby had once hidden from me and could not be found for over an hour. On a whim, the contractor decided to look into all the boxes once again, even though both of us had looked before. I have a new stove with a jet black top; Colby also happens to be jet black. Imagine our surprise when the stove box was opened and a pair of yellow eyes peered out from inside it. He is safe and I am so grateful that he is.

THANK YOU all who have prayed for my daughter and her many diseases- In June I took my daughter to a prayer/deliverance pastor who prayed for her healing, and so many symptoms were healed: visual problems connected to migraines - they are gone (black spots, weird lights, wavy lines in vision). THE MIGRAINES THEMSELVES are gone (they used to happen a few times a week!) A limp that she had because of crooked hips and a shorter leg, disappeared. Much chronic pain left - the whole right side of her body was ALWAYS in pain, but not now! Her digestion is the best it has been in years, and also, no more seizures! My daughter has been bed ridden on and off for almost 11 years. ... she seems to be experiencing increasing well being and healing each day...thank you all who prayed. We are amazed -- and praising the Lord. Please praise the Lord with us...if anyone would pray for her spiritual growth, I will thank you in Heaven...please pray that she becomes a student of the Word with a heart for worship...

On June 20th, I submitted a prayer for my son's throat. It was sore, swollen,and painful...causing him to have trouble breathing and swallowing (there was just a small passage opening). The next day, he was feeling ten times better and each new day showed more improvements. I truly believe it would have had a worse outcome if it were not for all of your prayers and I thank you so much for that...from the bottom of a thankful mom's heart....May God Bless each one you and your prayers! Thanks Be to God!! Oh!, and the other prayer was for his employment status......yes, he has started a new, full-time job. It is not his regular career-line, but it is a job, and we thank God for that.

My husband has been in Ecuador, South America since September 26, 2011. He is waiting for his Green Card. I was asking for prayers that the Embassy would put his papers through as soon as possible. I have 3 small children, and am raising them and working all by myself. Well.... He got approved! Yesterday his approval notice came in the mail, and now all we have to do is wait for them to call him to the consulate in Ecuador to get his passport processed and he can come home..... GOD IS SO GOOD! Please also continue praying that the appointment comes quickly and he can come home within weeks instead of months.

In January of 2009 I was diagnosed with stage four lymphoma. After 8 rounds of harsh chemo I had seven weeks of radiation and then a bone marrow transplant in June of 2010. I am now two years post transplant and praise God that I just got my latest PET scan result back and it was completely clear along with my blood work which was excellent. I am overwhelmed with God's goodness in my life. My husband and I are using this experience to proclaim God's faithfulness every chance we get! Thank you for rejoicing with us!

I want to share this amazing story so that others who struggel with believing in the power of prayer can be encouraged. For God hears our prayers and if God is willing miracles still happen. I have been at my place of employment for 30 + years. I have a coworker who's husband lost his kidneys when he was young. His mother gave him, her kidney and he lived with her kidney for over 20 years. About 2 years ago the kidney his mother gave him finally gave out and he was on dialises for over a year. We were watching this man slowly waste away and we knew he would not be able to live much longer without another transplant. He was on a transplant list but still had no kidney. His wife would have donated her kidney but when she was tested they said she was not a close enough match. The Lord laid it on another co-workers heart to be tested. She matched him so well, that the surgeon who would transplant the kidney wanted to know how they were related. The surgeon said "she could not have been a better match if she were his twin". We had been praying for this man for over a year and through the power of prayer a modern day miracle happend and he is alive and well today. This experience has changed all of us not just those involved, but all of us who witnessed and participated in prayer out of faith in our Lord. We believed if God was was willing, this man's life could be saved. It also changed the life of the women who donated her kidney.She looks at the world through God's eyes and tries to live for the needs of others in any way that God would have her, for the glory of God. I thank the Lord for allowing us to witness and partake in a modern day miracle.

PTL!!!! I would like to say thank you to all those who prayed. My husband & I have reconciled & I have moved back home. Another great answer to prayer is that after 2 surgeries (2 biopsys) the leison was successfully removed and the 2nd biopsy showed no cancer. The Dr said that they will have to keep a close eye on my vocal chords but my voice shouod also gradually return ( I'll never be a singer) but I will be able to speak. PTL!!! Thank you.

A week ago I asked for prayer for my who was having a heart catherization at the age of 79. I want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. Mom had no blockages, but may have a blockage in her carotid artery. Tests to follow. She had the procedure on the same day my daughter was to have her labor induced. Well God's timing was all good. She had the baby the night before mom's procedure and I was able to be with my mom and dad for the catherization. After the catherization, I was able to go up to NY to be with my newborn granddaughter. All are well and doing fine. Thank you all again for your prayers. I couldn't have handled this in my own strength. Neither could my mom.

A couple of weeks ago I asked for prayer for my 8 year old son who was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes after being admitted to the hospital with pneumonia. I want to let everyone know that he has not had to have an insulin injection for two weeks now!!! Praise God! I believe my son is healed because I claim it in the Name of Jesus. The doctors try to tell me that he is in what is called the "honeymoon phase" and they bet he will be back on insulin within six months. I say he's in a "Healing Phase". Amen!!! I have been checking his blood sugars before each meal and they are normal. When we ask, we shall receive in the Name of Jesus. I love the Lord with all my heart and He is the Great Physician. I want to be able to go back in six months and tell my son's doctors what the Lord has done. Thank you all for praying for us. Please continue to remember my son Noah in your prayers. In the middle of the storm the Lord continues to bless us and he will never leave us or forsake us. God Bless!!!

Thank you to those who have prayed for my mom who is having problems with her COPD and chronic bronchitis. She is getting oxygen in the hospital and her spirits were good when I was with her last night!! Well sometimes God answers prayers the way we would like them to be answered and sometimes instead of moving the rocks in our lives he wants us to step over them and trust Him. My daughter passed Microbiology and Anatomy and Physiology but did not pass her Nursing course by a .8%! This is just a slight change in her life and God has a purpose. Because it is a 2 year nursing school she can not take any classes until January 2013. She is floundering a bit and now needs to get a full time job but I just keep reminding her that God has a purpose, not to harm us and to bring glory to His kingdom. First I want to thank EVERYONE for ALL your prayers and VERY helpful encouragements and I want to share the lastest news...... we are NOT out of the woods yet, by far but we do see how the Lord & His people (YOU) are holding us up! Here's the latest news with with my husband.......... The judge finally closed my husband's WC case this last hearing, April 30. HURRAY! Now, the attorneys just have to hand in their closing statements, we have 30 days to do this & WC has 60 days. Then wait for the judge to issue a decision, this could take 2-4 more months, then if the decision is in our favor, Russ could wait up to 6 months longer to get any kind of a settlement pay. Total of another year yet! Like I said, we're not out of the woods yet. That was the bad news first, now some good...... My husband's SSD hearing is TODAY, May 10 at 1:00. We spoke to Ronnie this past Saturday, the person who will be representing him at this trial. She has 28 years representing her clients and knows how the SSD system works along with the judges. She had informed us that there are 4 judges at this court house and my husband will be getting one of them. Ronnie told us that 2 of the Judges approve all their cases without a question right away, especially since my husband has been without income now for over 2 years now. The 3rd will approve my husband but he just wants to "see" my husband first before he does. But the 4th one, Ronnie says, is the tough one. We wont know who we will get until we get there, SO PRAYERS ARE NEEDED! Ronnie has told us that she will be able to tell that day if my husband would be approved or not especially if we get one of those 3 judges. We will get the official notice 60 - 90 days later with a retro check sometime following. Not sure how long that will take. If he is not approved it could take up to 2 years longer for my husband to go to the next level, don't even want to think of this! Prayers are needed for one of the 3 judges & for my husban, Russ, as he is on the stand, that he says the right words and not get things mixed up, prayers for me also if they put me on the stand to testify....... Again I want to thank everyone on Prayer Works cause Prayer really does Work!

again i would like to say to all of you who have prayed for me , thank you ,and god bless you.thru this time in the last 2 months things have done the other way as far as her and i talking spending any time together, her kids bare speak to me and my boys , sometimes my kids ask when will we see them and i really dont know what to say to them.i have found out that she has been see someone off and on.in the things im see i just cant see the lord in this at all right now as i had thought at first. i know thru hearing the lord his word and circumstances we get are answers. at this point i have backed off a lot and she asked me about it. yet not much effort has been done on her part, i think she doesnt know what she wants, i have noticed my feeling have been changing some . i see that i put my life on hold hoping for us to be together but i see more and more that this is not the case so day by day am trying to move forward ,what her parents and friends think matter more so.i pray that the lord will give her much happiness i see that once my feelings change completely this is just one door i cant go back thru again with her . i said i would be here for them in the beginning as long as they dont push me away.and i see that more and more , not that im asking the lord for the easy way but im ready to move forward and wait for this door to be closed .of course the lords will be done not mine. my trust is in him, thank you all so much for your time.

I was getting letters asking me for money from a ministry that was fake They were sending creepy letters trying to personalise it to me and others. They were sending objects through the letters as well. After about 5 months with 5-6 letters. My prayers were answered thanks to the mercy and wisdom God gave me. I found the way to get them to stop sending letters and they obeyed God's command for them to stop.

Thanks to God for helping me with my teeth, he provided the money to have my tooth bonded as it had a hairline fracture on it and he made it successful. Helped me with travels and money and a good experience. Helped me save the money up and have the right time, have it done fast that is my teeth whitened and blessed it to work very well! Thank the Lord he helped me with the money and also helped me with removable braces. I got through the treatment fast and never had to pay, my orthodontist was good and understood and granted me removable braces because I didn't want fixed ones as I was self conscious and they take longer. God spoke to him and changed his mind and I got them for free. I got discharged quick. Not only did they successfully straighten my teeth but also lift up my gum in level with the other so I didn't have to have gum surgery thanks to God! When I had an extraction the dentist couldn't get the root out but God did cause I prayed and remembered God can move mountains and I believed I received and it came to pass. I went for my scan and they found no root at all! Thanks to God for that I didn't have to be delayed brace treatment nor suffer getting it surgically removed. God cares about our small issues.

I just wanted to share with you a testimony. Nearly two years ago I had surgery done. I was unhappy with my appearance and I wanted to change it. I kept worrying about whether it was God's will or not until God was speaking to me through my thoughts and telling me if it made me happy then I could have it done. I prayed to God about it three years before I had the surgery and I would say I found him leading me to have it done. God provided the money, spoke to my dad who at first refused to take a loan for me and I got really upset. God guided him and God guided me and made all travels afforable and well. Found me a good surgeon and blessed me with very healthy and successful surgery. God answered my prayers and made me more confident and happy and gave me the look I wanted and protected me from all risks and complications. God also lead me to have it done at the time I wanted. I was the youngest candidate and didn't have to wait long to have it done. I got it done soon so I could enjoy my life with it. God blessed the journey to be short, smooth and successful. He was there for me when I was in need so much, he helped me mentally and emotionally. God also helped me find him after this surgery I got much closer to God and learned more of who he was. My experience lead to faith.

My sister just told me that she just found out that she is going to have a baby. It was a real suprise for her. She is 38. She already has a son 17. She and her husband had not planned to have anymore. She is very worried and nervous about having a child at her age. I want to Thank everyone for all of the prayers. I told that I will be ok and just to pray a lot and talk to God about it. I am so happy for her. My wife and I have two children both were born early. Our daughter was born at 24 weeks and only weighted 1 pound and 2 ounces. With lots and lots of prayer from people we didn't even know praying for us. Our daughter is now 12 years old and just as normal as any other preteen. Our son was born at 32 weeks at 4 pounds 11 ounces. He is now 6 and 100 percent boy. The power of prayer does work just ask anyone who has been in our shoes. We are true believers ot the Lord and his powers.

Please pray for my daughter, Hannah.....and my grandson, Kaden. Hannah has been troubled for such a long time and the family had truly hoped that, though her unplanned pregnancy was upsetting at the time ( more for the baby's welfare then anything ) we all had hoped that this would be something the Lord would cause her to turn from her ways and chose the healthy path in life. It seems pretty evident that this hasn't occurred. Although Kaden seems a happy little boy ( he's almost two,now ).....his mommy is keeping company with a fellow that has hit her and is ,well, just a criminal.....I have to wonder how she could allow such a person around her son. I have also caught Hannah speaking very nasty to Kaden ( her phone had accidently called me once, not sure but Kaden was probably playing with it or something ) cursing at him and calling him a nasty name, I called her back after the almsot 4 min. call and told her I had heard the conversation she had with her son and that as he grew to understand the words she was speaking over him it would scar his heart and did she want that ?! She seems to have behaved better towards him- as evidenced by his reaction when I retun him to her after his visits....which made me more hopeful in a repentant heart, but now, finding out she calls this fellow, boyfriend, who is so not good.....I have to plead for as much prayer as possible. Pray that the Lord convicts her heart and she would turn from her self-destructive ways, that Kaden would be protected from the enemy and that my husband and I would be granted wisdom and peace from the Lord in all of this. My heart grows very weary in the waiting.....and I can't share this with my husband because I can't share all the ugliness surrounding Hannah as he already has gotten so very angry about her that I know I couldn't take his angry words and broken heart on top of it all ! My step mom had had back surgery right after Christmas and was having a hard time healing. While she still is not 100%, she is definitely back to at least 90%. GOD IS AWESOME! Thank you for each of you that has prayed and for the word of encouragement! I posted last thursday about depression, of struggles with my daughter, worries about my marriage, my work, and health. I was struggling to pray, worship, and find any joy. Well . . .thursday night I was called for work friday at my favorite school, friday morning I woke up 5am with a beautiful song of worship in my heart & on my mind before my eyes were even open! Same with saturday 2am and anytime I'd wake up, just beautiful worship. I had three awesome days with my daughter, no arguing. My husband said he knew I'd been stressed lately and suggested we go camping this coming weekend, our favorite family getaway. It just keeps going. God just really showed up in a might way. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has prayed for my marriage. My husband had been unfaithful and also thought that he didnt love me anymore. He moved out on thursday. I prayed to God knowing that He had a plan for me, i was just so unsure of what it was. Then while reading the love dare, i came across something that said the only way to push lust out of our hearts is to ask God to fill our hearts comepletely. It is the only truly satisfying love...how true....I prayed for God to comepletely fill both of our hearts with His love and our love for one another. My husband came through my bedroom door at midnight asking to please forgive him and let him come home. God is the only one who could have made that happen. Hi Everyone, I felt led to share my families testimony because I've prayed and read many prayer requests on this site and I feel compelled to let others know that they are not alone in their struggles yet they have to stay faithful. Two years ago I decided to leave my job and step out on faith to follow the Lord's path for me (learning to heal others from disease and teach them how to prevent and heal disease). I left a corporate climbing position with solid $$$ but I rather serve my purpose for the Lord. My husband also started a business that is growing nicely. For those years, God has given us the things we needed. In the past 4 months, we have had trying times like: our house going to foreclosure/sheriff sale three times and it keeps getting postponed, my husbands business as extremely slow so we had to live off of our savings and we are down to almost pennies, our marriage struggling, utilities being threatened to get cut off, my husband almost had to take back is truck, being behind in commercial rent for my husbands office space, utilities at our office being due (we also have to children), barely having gas money to go from point A to point B....plus more that I can't think of. I must say that throughout these trying times, we have remained to stay faithful. We know that this is a test of our faith and we absolutely refuse to stress and worry about this. I believe in my Fathers word and I know he is ABLE. Yes, we may wonder what will happen but it's never stress. Our spirits remain high daily because we have the JOY of the Lord in our hearts that no man or circumstance can take away. Even in our struggles, we still find a way to thank the Lord and we have never gone hungry or thirsty. He is so AWESOME!!! I just want all those who think that they can't go on to know you can't and the Lord wants to know are you who you say you are???? In good times, you praise Him but what about the trying times...still Praise Him. He is soooo worthy. There are so many marriage breakdowns on here and I know firsthand that it is hard. Even though my husband and I bicker, Divorce is never an option. What I do when I feel like alot of struggles are happening is I grow closer to the Lord - reading the Bible, listen to music that glorifies His name, I think of more things I can do to give and help others. I took a settlement, I am not happy with it but I did pray about it. I feel that God wanted me to take the settlement so I did. That was one of the reasons I got depressed plus my back and neck pain. I asked for prayer because my husband was with another woman and now we are living in the same house he is very verbally abusive to me I am now staying away from him. He spoke to me the other day and I answered him but kept walking. I have put this in the Lord's hands and I will wait on him to decide what should happen he knows my situation and I know he has my best interest at heart he wants only wants the best for me I must wait on him and not get ahead of myself. God is SOOOO GOOD! My boyfriend Bill went through a cystoscopy/Ureteroscopy and they removed tissue from his bladder to biopsy. His father died from bladder cancer and was also a smoker. Good news is the test results came back NO CANCER!! and also good news is Bill has stopped smoking cigarettes. I got him an electronic (water vapor) smokeless kind that seems to work wonders ..soon he will give that up too. (at least they dont cause cancer). I appreciate all the prayers from everyone here. I am sure that helped us out as I am a firm believer in prayer. Again! Thank you for praying for us!!!!!

We all know that life is Hard when God doesnt answer our prayers the way we want them too. I have been praying for God to help my mother with cancer. That is a blessing because her cancer is alseep for 1 and 1/2 years. Thank the Lord. But I dont know if I am anorexic or what but it has been really hard for me to eat. I neeed some prayers. I feel like i have to be skinny for a guy to like me so I pray that God will place His love in my heart instead of the Guys love. I need a sign that God is even there. I have read a couple of stories here and i felt the need to share mine. First I have been married two years now and trying for a baby, i am not pregnant but i have this unspeakable peace and contentment in the Lord that his timing will be perfect, sometimes, it is hard though as i see friends and families get pregnant and the birth of a new one, a longing fills my soul and heart and i wonder when it will happen but i keep believing He is preparing me to be a great parent and i will know great joy when it happens. Also, i moved countries to be with my husband and it has been such a hassle to get a proper job and i am writing some important exams, i did fail one of my professional exams after so much preparing and praying but i did not get devastated which is quite unusual of me. I just thanked God and asked that he lead me in the right part as regards family and career

Today, he is home with parents, grandparents and extended family thriving and doing well. I was humbled to be witness to the prayers being lifted for this baby's healing. This is an update for the prayer request I post about 2 weeks ago, it is a huge praise to God for protecting my cousin Megan and her unborn child. Her surgery to remove the cervical cancer was a success and the pathology reports taken after the surgery and her lymph nodes show no sign of cancer. Now she can concentrate on carrying her baby to 32+ weeks, who will be delivered by cesarean section. We know that the power of prayer is massive, so thank you all who prayed for them! I would like to thank all those who prayed. The trip to my mom was very fruitful. I was able to show her how God has worked in my life and I continue to pray that He bring her to him so she can fully enjoy life. God Bless.

I want to thank everyone for all of their many prayers. I have been the "Discouraged" one down on the list. All your prayers and the wonderful note someone sent me have been amazing. The difficulties are still there and at times are even increasing, but I am trying to stay in His Word and do as I should in spite of everything around me. God does give peace through it all and I believe it is from so many people who are praying. Thank you all again and what a wonderful website this is!

Hello fellow christians of The Word Fm. Before I continue, i want to apologize. This isnt the common type of prayer request. In fact, its not even a prayer request. For the past year or 2, Ive liked this wonderful, amazing girl that goes to my church. Note, that she IS the preachers daughter, and is also very religious (not fundamentalist tho). We both commonly see each other (almost daily), including going to the youth group at my church. Even tho i try to be very good friends with her, it seems like either she doesnt have the ability/time to be friends with me at the moment, or something that i cannot see. I desperately want to be able to at least hang out with her, without is being to awkward. If I tell her that I like her, I wish, that if it does go down hill, that we can at least remain as in touch as we are now. In the book "The Reason for God", Timothy Keller says, "If a mild acquaintance turns on you, condemns you, and says she never wants to see you again, it is painful. If someone you're dating does the same thing, it is qualitatively more painful." This is exactly what im afraid of. He also says, "When you fall deeply in love, you want to please the beloved. You dont wait for the person to ask you to do something for her. You eagerly research and learn every little thing that brings her pleasure. Then you get it for her, even if it costs you money or great inconvenience." That is exactly how I feel towards her. It is here that I am asking for the fellow christian community's guidance. I HAVE prayed to the Lord, and I believe He has indeed sent many guides in my direction, including this site. Again, I apologize that this is not directly a prayer request, but rather something I hope the community can help me with.

About a week or so ago I posted a prayer request for our nephew who is feeling depressed and feels lost out at the University of Pitts. Answer to prayer may be in the works. He might be leaving school for a well needed break and spend time with his Aunt in NY state, This is what we have hoping for, for him to step back and spend time with family until he can figure out his next step. He is about 98% sure he is going to follow thru with this move. He really needs the care of family around him right now. The aunt that he is going to however is not a christian but we believe she has his best interest at heart and will help him thru this. Lets keep praying and life him today. Thank you all so much, we love him and want him happy and safe, after that we will keep praying he finds CHRIST

On 1/16/12 I posted a prayer request for my friend Emily. She had given birth and at the time all I knew was that the doctors said she had untreated pneumonia that had caused Periocarditis (sp?). Her heart was failing, there was nothing more the doctors could do and we were called to say goodbye. She was 27 years old with two children and was given 2 hours to live. Well... You all started praying and she made it through the night, then through the next day (Tuesday). By Saturday she had awaken from the coma and was off the ventilator. Yesterday, Tuesday 1/17/12, she was released from the hospital!!!!! Praise God!! He is SO good!! Thank you all for your prayers.

I submitted a prayer request around August of last year and wanted to share my victory... My request described my situation as a ministry leader for Celebration Station, a children's program that compliments the adult Celebrate Recovery group (if you don't know what that is, it's worth checking out). Well, I was at the end of my rope. I pushed on, and the encouragement I felt from the occasional PrayerWorks email telling me that someone prayed for me was such a lift! It really made a difference, and I appreciate each and every one! In November, I had two members step up and volunteer to help. They were trained in December and last week I was able to take the night off from the kids and share my testimony with the adult group! God is good, all the time. We are not always privileged to see the outcome of our actions, but I believe that this is God's will for me. I won't give up on these kids or on myself, but I will take an occasional night off from time to time :) Thank you all and God bless.

Just a little update. I posted this story below on December 21. My cousin was able to pay her rent this month. Also, the temporary job that she held this past summer, just sent her a bonus to thank her for her service during their season. It was enough to pay her electric bill. Truly amazing things do happen. Thank you to everyone that took the time to pray for her. I am going to ask for two more prayers for her. Enough money to get her starter on her car fixed and that a job comes through for her. My cousin is going through a hard time. She is currently unemployed and living on her child support. She had found a temporary job to supplement her other job. Her other job was downsized and the temp job ended.Because she was a personal care assistant to an elderly woman she does not qualify for unemployment and the temp job was not long enough to qualify for benefits. Once this happened, the starter in her car went and since it is Christmas, she is depressed because she cannot afford to buy presents for her 13 year old son. Please pray that she keeps faith and for her to know that God is walking with her through her ordeal.

I had posted a message about my 3 step daughters and a situation children and youth and a recent allegation that my youngest made. We are appealing the decision of CYS of it being unfounded and hope this brings some resolution. In the meantime, visitations are back now and we are very concerned about the safety of the children. We have an attorney, but he isn't really pushing for full custody despite all the evidence. We need prayer for a new attorney who can work with us financially and for the continued prayer for the girls. They started play therapy this week and we hope this will help all 3 of them. We just really need the favor of God in this situation and your prayers have brought us great comfort through a very difficult time.

Our family have truly been humbled by our Lord's grace. We have been so blessed in meeting people who have the skill in mastering the use of money as well as learning how to spend money wisely. I have been so blessed in studying the book of Proverbs " Whoever walks with the wise will become wise"Pr 13:21. His word has been my teacher "Wise people think before they act"Pr 13:16 NLT. "Seek first the kingdom of God" Matt 6:33. Again thank you for your prayers. Please continue praying. We even enjoyed giving to Word FM in their latest fund raisier. We were so blessed to be a giver. We are having a Bible Study for New Year's Eve and are inviting as many people as possible. What a way to enter the New Year. May the Lord bless you all as you seek His way.

Thank you so much for all who prayed. My daughter passed all her courses this semester and it is truly by God's grace. She has a hard time testing and God sustained her and helped her through it all. Praise God. thank you all so much for praying!

I was blessed when I submitted my prayer. I was in the sixth week of suffering from gout, even to the point of hiring a wheelchair so that I could go to the toilet. My wife started to grow in wisdom. I started to learn about this gout condition and had heard that gout was related to arthritis. In contacting a local organization here in New Zealand, I was told about workshops that educate the gout sufferer. I am meeting other gout sufferers and can now tell them about natural ways to manage the uric acid that produces the gout. As i suffered in pain one day with the level of pain being about 7/10 I questioned the Lord why? His response was that the pain suffered by Christ on the cross was greater than I was currently suffering. You can imagine how humble I felt. Imagine the worship as a result of pain and the comfort of the Scriptures. Scripture really does provide comfort. Thank you for your prayers and for Word FM radio station. Truly a blessing to all, wherever you are in the globe.

I recently submitted a prayer request. I was amazed at how many people have prayed for me and my family. I can feel the work of God in my heart and in my soil. While things aren't perfect and we are still waking on a modification to save our home I feel light a weight has been lifted. I am still worried but I feel so much better and not depressed. My husband and I have been really trying to find time for ourselves and it really has been much better at home. I want to thank you all for your prayers. I believe with God all thongs are possible. Thank you to everyone who prayed for my social phobia and anxieties, and especially for my Thanksgiving day today. I had a truly amazing day and could feel God working through me, and through my friend and her family. Though it was tough, I felt God strengthen me and am even now amazed at the peace and trust He brought me today, in the midst of what has, for as long as I can remember, been a source of extreme terror and fear for me. Thank you, all, for your prayers on my behalf; this was truly the best Thanksgiving I've ever experienced. Thank you, too, to Elizabeth and her family, and to Jesus for the peace that only He can bring.

For the last 5 weeks I have been suffering from gout related pain, from which I had great difficulty in walking. For a distance of 20 meters it would take me about 20 minutes. The pain was so excruciating that I would only get up to walk once a day, and for someone in a 90 kg frame, this exercise was just not enough. I finally convinced my wife to get me a wheelchair. This wheelchair saved my efforts for the last week. After logging on and listening to Word FM I saw the link to "Prayer Works" and knowing that this station was blessed knew I had to share a prayer request for God's Will for my health. A few hours after the prayer was made public on "Prayer Works", I woke from a sleep in the chair which I had made home for the last few weeks and knew I could stand without much pain. This I did, and it was like a relief, I mean to stand without the accompanying pain. The condition has slowly got better and I am coping alot better. Thank you. I have a daughter (Deborah)getting married in a week's time (19th November) and would like to walk down the aisle with her on her special day without pain.
